Detailed Reviews
Traveled to Patmos off season almost had no place to stay, someone gave us a number for Latmos 1860, although they were officially closed they opened, cleaned and gave us keys in an hour. The suite is authentically renovated, had spacious seating area, full kitchen and garden. The location steps from the main square, shopping bars and cafes. We fell in love with Latmos 1860 and are sure you will too.

Had a very enjoyable stay here! The host was waiting for us at the port when we arrived; we received a little welcome gift. The hosts are lovely and generous with a lot of good recommendations.
The place itself has a lot of charm, it is very authentic with a lovely garden. Location is great; next to the port and just steps away from nice places for breakfast and the Skala area. (We booked the ground floor large apartment that sleeps 4 persons.)
Cleanliness was of very high standard and we received a daily housekeeping service!
The bathroom and shower are great.
Without asking, we were offered to have our laundry done free of charge, which was really nice considering the hot temperatures and numerous visits to the beach.
We haven’t experienced any downsides of this place, we had an exceptional and memorable stay. Highly recommended!

We spent 3 days in July and we had the most amazing time. Dimitris and his wife are the kindest hosts from welcome to farewell. We booked the cave suite with the fear it would have been dark and claustrophobic. Instead, it was perfect and with a sense of the sacred atmosphere that is typical of Patmos. Dimitris gave us all the information about the island, restaurants, beaches and cultural sites. His authentic kindness came out when by mistake we took the room key with us to the next island. He was so kind in dealing with the situation that I was left speechless. They have created a place that completely respects the genius loci (the spirit of he place). The old house is still visible but with all the comforts of the modern world. Every spot is immaculately clean. At the moment there is no breakfast but Dmistris told us he is making connections with all the local producers of bread, pastries, cheese, yogourt to provide his guests with a gourmet experience. Next year the flowers just planted will bloom and even teh garden with the hammock will be even more beautiful. Thank you for the most beautiful time in Patmos. I highly recommend Latmos 1860.

We stayed 8 days at Latmos 1860 (upper villa) and we enjoy everything : the refined decoration of the bedroom and bathroom, the 2 sunny terraces , the isolated kitchen well equipped, the garden , the view on Hora and monastry , the location in the heart of Skala but so quiet (except the bells of the church but it is time to wake-up!) . Really a very good choice that make oour stay at Patmos unforgettable. Just one regret is that Dimitris was not there at that time (end of October) to exchange few words and suggestions of restaurant, trekking paths, beaches... but we discovered the best of Patmos our own as the Island is not so big

The house is a beautifully restored Patmian house dated since 1860.
Central and quiet location in Skala, we had a very spacious, clean and beautifully decorated room, which was the one with the amazing view to the monastery of Ioannis located at the Hora of Patmos.
3 beautiful terraces to chose where we to have our morning coffee or a glass of wine at night with the views towards the monastery .
Dimitris and Anastasia- the owners- were wonderful hosts. So caring and thoughtful to each moment of our stay, both genuine people.
It was a place that will t be difficult to forget!!
Thank you very much Dimitris and Anastasia, impatiently waiting to be back again !!
