The hotel is placed ideally within a short walking distance from everything in Skala and right on the main road to Chora, directly across from the municipal parking lot, a superb advantage to anyone having a car and wishing to explore the island of Patmos. Our ground-floor room was spacious and clean with hot water and air conditioning all day; there is no balcony but a terrace, which afforded us immediate access to the parking and the town but, most of all, gave us an unexpected budget price. Most important, the couple running the place were extremely warm, kind, sweet people, who had the amazing courtesy of extending our stay for half a day on their initiative to match the boat schedules without charging us an extra cent. We were treated like family, and that is priceless.

It is located very close to the port, at the beginning of the main road from Skala to Chora, in a very convenient location. The owners are helpful and polite. The rooms are renovated and clean. Prices are reasonable. I have stayed there many times and will prefer it again. I would also prefer more fresh products for breakfast, such as local cheese and fresh orange juice.

OK. This place is a little dated, but it's homey and comfortable. We were able to check-in eight hours early too. The owners were very accommodating. Breakfast was simple but filling. The couple that owns the place almost become your "greek grandparents" for a night.

It's very close to the port yet we were even offered a ride. It's so close we just walked back though.

Great location for the town. Walking distance from shops bars and restaurants. The room was clean and comfortable. The owners were very pleasant. Quaint hotel. I was only there one night so I didn’t eat there. I was up and out early the following day to sight see. Would recommend x

Jacob met us at the port and drove us the 100 metres to the villa, check in was simple and we were shown to our room which was of ample size, we were on the 1st floor facing the road with a small balcony suitable for a nightcap which we took advantage off on both nights of our stay, there is traffic but by nightfall it is minimal, we both wake early and only heard any noise after opening the shutters and doors.
The bathroom had been newly renovated to a high modern standard with a thermostatic mixer shower that was pretty powerful, there are glass shelves which I would personaly not have fitted due to the compact dimensions of the room, other than that it was better than many I've showered in in the islands.
Breakfast is taken downstairs toward the front of the property in the shade, its an above average B n B breakfast in my opinion with plenty to choose from and good filter coffee.
The staircase was a little challenging for me as my knees are not good but it is part of the architecture of the splendid building. Jacob offered us an alternative room on the ground floor but as I am just slow on the stairs it wasnt a problem for 2 nights.
Both Jacob and his wife were excellent hosts who couldnt do enough for us during our brief 2 night stay, we would certainly consider going back when we return to Patmos.

The room is simple but very clean and the attention of the owners is worth a 5 star hotel.
The rooms have a balcony and are quiet.
The hotel is well located to go everywhere on Patmos island, you can walk from there up to Chora in 25/30mn or in 5mn go to the main square in Skala for a coffee.

Arrived early evening from Samos. I hadn't messaged to say what time I was expected as I was making my own way there from port (take the road straight opposite the port and it's on the left next to the AB Supermarket) Due to this my room wasn't prepared and I had a wait. Felt a bit bad then having them rush around.
The room was a double. Decent size with a balcony to front of hotel and a side window with a view of the chora. The furnishings were a bit one fashioned but in order. Comfy bed. First time I've had a pair of weighing scales in the room! There was a tv, air con- and hair dryer. Access to hot drinks downstairs. Self service breakfast was included. Nothing fancy but filling.

Back in 2019, while we stayed in Villa Zacharo, our host told us that if when, having died, we wanted to come back to earth, we'd better try to do so as a god. But if that wasn't possible, we should try to come back as a guest, because Greek people treat their guests as gods.
And gues what : we came back -- not after our death -- and YES, WE WERE TREATED AS GODS!
In Villa Zacharo HOSPITALITY is practised at the highest level

Thank you!

Stayed here 10 days with the family mid-August. These family run apartments are clean and tidy and the service is 1st class. The family are so helpful and kind, they couldn't do enough for us. My children loved it as well. Breakfast is included, rooms have TV and WiFi, and even drinking water is free which helped no end. I would highly recommended you to stay here. Thank you Jacob and family at Zacharo for a wonderful stay.
Paul and family xx

My husband and I stayed here in August, due to friends visiting Greece, we were pleasantly surprised with this hotel, it's small but the host and his wife were super friendly, we was picked up from the port, although it's not needed as the hotel is very close to the port and easy to find as it's right next door to the AB supermarket, the rooms are adequate for the price, breakfast was simple but very tasty, there is free tea and coffee in the reception area 24hrs of the day/night for all guests, we would recommend the Villa Zacharo to anyone, and shall stay here again.
