A short walk from the center of Skala, this excellent value for money hotel welcomes guests with breathtaking sea-view rooms. There is a sense of calm
The room located on the second floor without a lift had a terrace for exclusive use, large wardrobes and a small bathroom. Excellent Wi-Fi. There is a small fridge and air conditioning.
Breakfast takes place on the small and welcoming terrace and was both savory (eggs, vegetables, the inevitable feta and olives) and sweet (biscuits, cake, bread, jam).
I was then really struck by the kindness of the staff, all very friendly and affable.
Definitely recommended

We found the owner and staff in the blue bay so helpful and kind, the owner went out her way to make sure everything was good for us. We had a sea view room which was amazing sitting watching the yachts and cruise ships come and go.
Accommodation was very clean and comfortable our room was cleaned everyday.
The location of the hotel is perfect just a two minute walk and your in the heart if Skala.
The breakfast was a help yourself buffet and nothing was missed out it was amazing and no rush eat and enjoy at your leisure, again staff were so helpful if you asked for anything.
The hotel reception was managed 24 hrs a day and when we came back in the evening Theo was always there to ask if we had a good night, the owner recommended a couple of restaurants to us which were first class.
We had an amazing time at the hotel and on the island of Patmos totally recommend the blue bay to anyone.

The place has a very good location in Skala, very close to restaurants and bars. We enjoyed our stay there but I think that the strongest point to mention is the excellent staff. They were so helpful and did an amazing job of fulfilling all customers's needs

We have loved this hotel - We came as a family of 6 in May/June 2023. The rooms are lovely and modern and the cleaners keep them spotless with clean towels and bottles of water everyday. The pool area is kept really tidy and plenty of entertainment to get involved in. The food is great, especially at night time with a different theme every night. My daughter is 5 and has absolutely loved the kids club - they have a great room with soft play and other activities for them to get involved in, the 2 girls who run the kids club are amazing - Ayse and Yasmin they look after the children so well and they all have so much fun!

Upon disembarking from the ferry terminal, my walk with the luggage to the Blue Bay Hotel was comfortable and convenient. Initially, I had my reservations as I felt that the near proximity from the terminal to Hotel would be too close so it would then be a noisy and rowdy place of stay, but was surprised as the Hotel is like another part of a quiet world. The room is clean and tidy - the bed sheet and pillow covers are also clean, so indeed I had a comfortable sleep. In having to go to the eateries in town, it was just another wonderful walk. The manager, Demetrius, is polite and he is spontaneous in talking about anything - sports, places, history, religion etc. He speaks candidly, is also a nice and wonderful person as surely he had been all along helpful. I am sure that he treats all guests more like a friend indeed. Utterly enjoyed my stay! - Anthony Tam, Singapore.

Wow! What a wonderful hotel! Ariadne was amazing and gave us fantastic tips on where to go, restaurants etc. All recommended were excellent. The most amazing sea views and the room was lovely. We paid for a sea view and it was breathtaking! Rooms have air conditioning and shower gel which was great as we forgot ours! Breakfast was lovely. Everything you could wish for. We just had the fruits and Greek yoghurt which was delicious. Cappuccino was also very good! Would 100% come back. Thank you all for such a wonderful time xxx

The photos are taken rom our room, one is sunrise❤️ The others are the breakfast & bar terrace.

If you're looking for somewhere to stay on Patmos, this is the place. It's only a short walk from the harbour but away from the main town, so it feels quiet and intimate. The rooms look out onto the amazing sea view. The facilities are pretty standard but it was very clean and tidy when we arrived. The staff are also really friendly and always up for a chat and helping you out. Look no further!

I love this place, it has character and personality - the other travellers, the staff, the ancient brass window handles made perfectly in three parts... it's like a second home. Even in the off-season its filled with interesting people with great stories to tell, a great pub which loosen tongues and you discover you are next to a millionaire who also prefers this to the 5* hotel up the road.
"No atmosphere! It's like waiting for your cosmetic surgery in that place! This is real and you can be who you are" Ha!! exactly my sentiments.
The rooms are clean, the view is spectacular, there is plenty of hot water and cold air con.....but the fun is downstairs with all the people.
Beaches, town etc.... all walkable.

I only stayed one night on Patmos but was really sorry to leave. It’s an amazing island, really vibrant and diverse, would have liked to see more, experience more. So - if you’re island hopping like me, stay here for longer than one night!
The hotel was such a gem! Simple rooms, simple furnishings, a little outdated but that just adds to the charm, I think. Everything was so clean though and the room had space and air and light. The balcony is wonderful, the view amazing! Loved it, loved it!
And the service couldn’t have been friendlier and nicer. I want to go back! And I will. To stay longer and enjoy this island properly.
