A group of 8 of us stayed in the nearby Bunkhouse, (also owned by the Inn), for a weekend, and had all our meals in The Street Head Inn. The bar and eating areas are spacious and spotlessly clean with a traditional country feel. The two evening meals and the Sunday lunch that we enjoyed were absolutely gorgeous; with large...

A good looking Inn in a wonderful remote location of Bishopdale, West Burton deep in the Yorkshire Dales. The views are stunning. My double room was spacious, clean, very comfortable and well equipped. Dinner was excellent - the lamb chops came from the Landlord's local farm and were cooked exactly the way I asked them to be. Service and breakfast...

Stayed here for 3 nights early April 2017. Arrived just after 2pm as they were about to close but was shown our room and given keys and had time for a drink before the bar shut. Ideal location for walking to West Burton and Aysgarth without needing the car. Close to Leyburn and Hawes. Meals were all excellent and nice...

We booked to stay for two nights when we arrived around 2:30pm the pub was closed and had to ring a bell to get access. We were shown to our room and given keys to the room and front door of pub, which we we had to lock when we went out, really disappointing not to be able to relax...

Stayed on the camp site. Chose this pub to eat in only to find it over priced and had no atmosphere whatsoever.....the bar maid did not smile all night...the waiter seemed happy and helpful but the food was far too overpriced for what it was (average of 15 pound a meal). The food was really nice...will just have to remember...

Had a meal here whilst stopping at the campsite behind. The atmosphere was friendly and warm. The food was delicious and the portions huge!! The staff were all very cheerful. Enjoyed our evening here and would definately come back.

On the recommendation of a friend we booked for Sunday lunch for a special birthday. We were not disappointed. All of us thought it was perhaps the best carvery we had ever had and certainly the biggest. The staff, in particular the chef were very friendly and entertaining. We did book in advance and I would suggest that you do...

We visited on mothers day afternoon and had sadly missed the food times as they had just started cleaning it away. I asked the man behind the bar if he knew of anywhere else that would serve food locally. He asked where we were heading. I didn't want my wife to know I was planning a visit to the waterfalls....

Nice place to go to on a drive around the Dales. Checked their website before leaving home which stated dogs welcome. On arrival for Sunday lunch were told that dogs were in fact not welcome on Sunday lunch time. Can't rate any further as we didn't get past the front door.

Thank Jim W
