Very welcoming of our large party that visited new year's Day for lunch. Great food and a lovely accomodating host. Good fast service especially as there were 26 of us. Varied menu and specials. Landlord very welcoming.

The four of us had a great evening meal. The welcome was great as was the service. The food was very good too as we have come to expect. My salmon was particularly good. We will come back soon and look forward to doing so.

Visit this lovely friendly pub when ever we are walking in the White Peak. Landlord and staff always very welcoming, despite the fact that we and the dog are usually muddy. Food reasonably priced and well presented . (They do doggy snacks too)

    Thank Janet O

Yes, I believe so. When we visited one of the other diners had a dog with them. Admittedly, I think they are a local and frequent visitor but I don't see why they would treat them differently.

I have seen dogs in the bar but I think it is between the land lord and guests it's best to ring first .
