Interesting location right a cross from the Abbey. We arrived at 6:00 and Grahm was at the tennis club so we w e re directed to go to hi neighbors for the key. The room was large an we were able to wash some clothing, which was great. In the morning, after a GREAT breakfast, he drove us to a...

We can confirm that the twin room was very comfortable and well appointed. Graham was a very helpful and excellent host and produced a great breakfast to send us on our way to Northumberland. The location was beautiful and so quiet - much appreciated by us. Thanks Graham.

A wonderful host who provided a fabulous breakfast.A gorgeous home in a lovely location close enough to Richmond but so quiet you would not believe it. The only quibble I would have was the double bed which was not very comfortable - will be back but next time will ask for the twin room.

Excellent value in every sense. The host was outstanding both before arriving and during our stay. The room was faultless, a very comfortable room. I would absolutely return. Breakfast was great also. We were really able to recharge on the coast to coast walk a much needed oasis before the longest day to Ingleby

Graham is the perfect host! He walked down towards town to meet us after a long day walking and made us feel more than at home. This was a lovely B+B with a friendly, helpful and welcoming host, in a beautiful spot. The owner was very prompt and helpful before our arrival, with suggestions on where to go for dinner, and provided advice and maps for walking when we arrived. The bedroom was lovely, with big beams, and we also had use of a sitting room...

We stayed here two nights. Despite it being slightly out of season Graham kindly let us stay. We were welcomed with a pot of tea and teacakes and crumpets. We stayed in the double room which was lovely and bed was very comfortable. This room has its own separate bathroom but being as no one else was staying and the...

We stayed at the lovely Easby Cottage for two wet nights during our C2C walk in April 2014. The four of us were made to feel very welcome with the host Graham offering us tea and cake on arrival. He offered to do our washing and drying for us and drove us into Richmond for supper. Graham's specialty is history...

In the days leading up to this visit my wife had been unwell with a bronchial infection. Knowing that her coughing at night would mean neither of us would be likely to get much sleep, and knowing both rooms were free the night for which we'd booked, I contacted the owner to see if it would be possible to use...
