The cabins are modern with en suite bath rooms and nice furnishings. To operate the thermostats one has to open the door to assure that the temperature of the room is as desired. The room that we had was large and pleasant. Knotty pine walls, a large window, a huge bathroom but towels and pillows were not so large. The... More

After much research and on the basis of positive reviews I made a reservation via hotels.com to stay here for a few days in December. The reservation was confirmed online and I then arranged my flights to Norway and my internal flights between Alta and Oslo. The next day I received an email from hotels.com to say that the reservation... More

My fifth time at this wonderful little place. Very comfortable rooms with great bedding. Nice staff that wants to make you comfortable. Engaged owner that takes care of her place and employees. One of my favorite places in the north. We also had dinner. Reindeer stew and salmon. Wonderful. And the breakfast is equal to any hotel.

As motorbike traveller, I am looking for places at the outskirts of towns or in the nature, not far from main roads. And this is exactly such place. Nice, quiet, isolated... Sølvi and Vanessa are nice and very helpfull (we had unpleasant experience with SAS airline), they helped us, saved our vacation as well as the rest of staff there.... More

These cosy cabins are just beautiful. Really large rooms, they have that rustic feel of a forest cabin. It really is a place to get away from it all. Beds were wonderful, bathrooms old style but really nice, despite being in the middle of nowhere had great WiFi. We found reception to be really helpful and friendly. She gave us... More

The houses outside are such lovable! We dined inside our apartment and we really felt the artic experience. We bathed outside in the hot tub (free of charge) and it was really magic with the water at 40°

We stayed here one night. Drive up to the cabin is quit long, over 16 kilometers. Be carefull for the icy roads and wild life that can walk on the road. Night sleep was great, the owners has a group of husky dogs however we haven't heard them. The reception could me somewhat more friendly.

A very enjoyable stay to see the Aurora Borealis but with lots of other activities in case it didn't appear. It did! Accommodation combining simplicity with warmth. Good local food. Solvig could not have been more helpful and interesting. Our dog sledding morning with her, trying to learn how to handle our sleds, was very entertaining - huskies delightful! Don't... More

Booked a few days away with my young daughter and decided to stay here because of the reviews and because it was slightly out of town - which we prefer. And we were so impressed with practically everything. We arrived later than expected but got a lovely welcome from the staff covering reception. Easy check in and in our room... More
