I cannot say enough good things about our stay at the Barn Cottage & Stables. We're a family of 5 (2 adults, 3 school age children), so we reserved both rooms. It was the perfect option for us for our two nights on Mull. Looking back on our trip, we should have stayed for at least three nights! Very spacious...

Host Sue made us feel very welcome from the start. Room was very compfortable, including wlecoming freshly baked scones. Had a twin room with bathroom close by which was only for us. Very well equipped including washing machine and dryer if needed. Location was central to explore Isle of Mull over one and a half days. Breakfasts were excellent with...

We really enjoyed our stay at this lovely B & B. The room and en suite were of a very high standard, and the cake which was left for us was most welcome. Sue the host was very friendly and helpful, and you could tell she really enjoyed being the host. Nothing was too much trouble, and it made our...

A little out of the way on a single track road but it's worth it. We had to open the gate to get in the yard, the view looking over the pasture to the mountains was spectacular. Sue met us as we drove in, what a sweetheart of a person, instant like. Our room was huge and spotless. Bathroom was...

If you read my other Scottish reviews, I'll appear to be undiscerning and a "five star for everyone"reviewer. That is not the case. The locations and hosts are just that good. Barn Cottage lives up to its reviews but the pictures and the descriptions didn't prepare me for the large and beautiful home with acres of pasture, stags in the...

The accommodation was fantastic, spacious modern and spotlessly clean. The hosts were friendly more than accommodating, nothing too much trouble! The Breakfast choice was fantastic. The extra charm of home baked cakes in your room after a day out, was charming and delicious. We would only stay here in the future, nothing against the other B&Bs but when you find perfection...

This B&B was one of the best we have ever stayed in - from the first email contact by Sue with lots of Information to the scones and cake waiting for us in the evening. We stayed in the family room for 2 nights, bathroom was lovely and big, the lounge had everything you needed. Our daughter loved the animals...

We stayed here for two nights in August. The family room was lovely, clean and spacious, the breakfast was excellent, the setting fabulous and Sue was so helpful and informative. She helped arrange for our daughter to go beach pony trekking and was full of advice on where to visit on the island. The B&B had a lounge/breakfast room packed...

This was a little gem found when we couldn't get into Tobermory due to the games. However, the house and setting were delightful. We had a massive bedroom with a two seater settee, tea making facilities and two scones with jam and butter to welcome us. Our very large bathroom was separate but for our private use only next door....

It was wonderful to stay somewhere so relaxing. The room was lovely and it was nice to have the guest lounge along the hall. The tea, coffee and scones on arrival were amazing. My daughter loved visiting that there were some animals to visit. All in all, a great stay and I would love to go back.
