This is a big and nice hotel, it has lots of facilities to use, both indoors and outdoors. The scenery is beautiful and surrounded by mountains. I would recommend staying here for a shorter period of time, though, as the location is kind of remote.

The hotel is located in the Telemark region and is filled with old school charm. The various sitting areas (some currently being renovated) were very cozy... If I had time it would have been lovely to curl up with a glass of red and a good book.

My husband and I were in a group tour and we stopped here overnight on Sept 21st 2016 on our way to Bergen. The hotel seemed to be in the middle of nowhere, just a few houses nearby, but there's a beautiful lake across the road and the hotel grounds itself is nicely kept with a few apple trees and...

Exactly as our title suggests. We were happy with the room, but the decor could do with a bit of updating. There is some character in the "older" look in the communal areas but in the rooms, they look dated and makes the room look darker than what it probably is. Overall, rooms were clean and comfortable. The buffet breakfast...

This is a very large hotel high up in the mountains in Vradal in the Telemark region of Norway and close by the lake which can be easily accessed from the hotel. Our room was adequate and we were pleased to be able to open the window...push from the bottom out. The bathroom was small but adequate for the one...

We stayed as part of a tour, our room was dark and dingy and at the very back of the hotel. It was painted in the worst colour I've seen. It felt like a cell! It is in a very remote location. Food was good.

The hotel is a bit worn and old fashioned, but this also add a bit of atmosphere I guess. Quiet location close to the lake (across the road and down a short hill) Room was quite spacious and clean (family room). Cheap toiletries available. The tv was tiny (20"?). Ok beds. Great free wi-fi with good coverage around the hotel....

As part of a comos tour I stayed here for one night which was a shame as I could quite easily have spent two or three nights here. The rooms is and clean, the only low point is the bathroom is a bit small and the windows don't open, but none of that matters when you consider the setting and...
