I believe their renovations are quite recent.
You can tell by looking at the hallways that this used to be a rough-looking place.
Freshly painted, hardwood laminate, re-done bathroom. New TV with PC included.
For the money, this place is absolutely fine.
There is a hotel across the street if you want something nicer but it is roughly $50 extra per night.

The manager was friendly enough but we had booked months previously o\and he seemed completely unaware of our booking. The carpet on the stairs is filthy. The room was OK. The front door scraped as we opened it and needed rehanging. We did not eat in the restaurant downstairs as it looked dirty and there was noone there always a good sign of a not so good place to eat. We stayed on a Saturday night and when we enquired about breakfast were told the kitchen not open on Sunday mornings what the!!?? so we ordered oatmeal and coffee and the manager bought it up to our room in the morning. Very kind

it’s a alright place, all the rooms seem to be different so some of them are nice some are not, it was clean, and efficient enough for just one night. staff seem friendly. you get what you pay for the price.

Stayed here for 3 nights, the advertisement says its a 2 Star Motel but its far better than that. For a less then hundred bucks per night, I'd say its a cheap stay in a town like Fraser Lake. Comfortable bedding, Memory Foam pillows, Tv, Microwave, Coffee maker and all the basic amenities included.
The best part is that rooms and motel itself is cleaned everyday and all the sanitization protocols were being followed. Will probably stay here again on the way to my next camping.

I have stayed at some bad places in my 42 years on this Earth but this place takes the cake! Where do I start: called a week before to book a room, no record of it, took him 10 minutes to come check us in and was rude to boot. The smell in the lobby should have made me leave but the other hotels were booked. Nothing has been renovated or cleaned for years and the hallways look like a mental institution. The room smelled awful, cinder block walls make it feel like a jail, they haven't sold that color carpet since 1980, the shower walls had at lease 30 long hairs on it, toilet had stains that can never be cleaned, the bedding was stained (thank god I was worried about this place and brought my own), the ac unit smelled like the electrical was going to light on fire and just about rattled itself out of the wall when it was on so we turned it off and opened the window, which doesn't have a screen so we got eaten by mosquitoes. The cup next to the sink had a thick layer of dust and something sticky on it, had never been cleaned. The absolute worst part was the one roll of toilet paper provided had clearly been dropped in the toilet and put back on the holder so it had yellow stains, black dots (mold) and was hard and crusty!

All of the good reviews are obviously from friends or family.

I'll never forget the smell.

I was staying with a friend, first time ever being in Canada. I was calling from a United States phone number and it took them over an hour to deliver my meal. I tried calling to order something from the lobby and they took it as a joke and kept hanging up on me. Very rude and they already knew it wasn't a joke when they delivered my meal the FIRST TIME. Very disappointed on my experience with their professionalism.

If I could give zero stars I would. Sketchy doesn’t even begin to cover this place. Took my payment but no name asked, nothing! It came across as the kind of place you can rent by the hour.
The beds were filthy and holes in the sheets. My husband said he was afraid he’d wake up and have someone in the room who came to harvest his organs. I definitely slept with one eye open!
Do NOT stay here.

Was able to get a room for myself and my kids and pets. The staff were very accomodating. We were grateful we didnt end up sleeping in the car. The hotel was surprisingly affordable. I walked in ready to pay a few hundred. The only downside was that there were no restaurants open at all and no gas stations open after 10:30pm. So if you plan a trip there late . Bring food. Other than that. Its friday night and quiet...

I stayed here one night, and regretted it, as soon as I entered reception.

The guy who runs the place is nice enough, but the place itself is tired tired and rundown.

The bathroom was not very clean, and I did not want to shower there.

When I attempted to heat food up in the microwave, it blew the fuze, which annoyed the guy trying to watch tv next door.

I also tried to use the Wireless Internet, which was a joke, as it kept disconnecting me.

All in all a bad experience and one I do not wish to repeat.

This place is disgusting & dirty!! Service is terrible! The hotel is cold! they have little heaters everywhere to try and heat the place. The bedding looks like they took it out of a dumpster! We rented four rooms for our crew only to find out that the rooms were doubled booked and other people had keys to the rooms! They pretend they don't understand you and are very hard to deal with and will not refund you either. When you first walk into the lobby its dirty, their desk is dirty so this should be a sign to not stay here!! There is another hotel in town with much friendlier people that actually have staff that clean they rooms!! I don't recommend that you eat the food there either!
