Stayed for compulsory quarantine upon arrival in Norway. One bed, tv, tiny low desk (caused back aches) and a chair. No shelves. Barely room to move around, and unless you'd sit or lie on the bed all day (personally if I do that for too long, my head starts to hurt), there was no comfortable way to watch the tv. Poor lighting with te ceiling light and desk lamp not working (caused headaches). The reception did say that the desk lamp will work if I connect it to the outlet behind the bed, but considering it didn't work when I connected it to a functional (tested with phone charger) outlet on another wall, I don't see what the difference would have been. It just wasn't working. Extremely bland food, never hot, often cold, repetetive (often exactly the same sandwich day after day, then the same salad for lunch). Dinners were bare minimums each time, and not something I'd expect from an actual hotel (for example: white rice, some de-frosted frozen veggies which had that strong frozen veggie taste, a couple of leaves of salad and a cherry tomato. No sauce, no dressing.) The reception (contacted via email) didn't understand what kind of adapter I needed for my laptop (South African plug), and even though I explained and attached a photo of the plug, they send me a UK adapter. Later they said the adapter must have been on loan, but the fact they didn't recognize the plug makes me doubt that. I needed to buy my own and get it shipped.…
I feel so sorry to myself that I got to spend a few nights in this hotel. The staff were not friendly and not helpful at all!! Room cleanliness was terrible. There was dust everywher. And bad smell everywhere😭
The location od the hotel is far east from everywhere. You need to walk 5 km to the nearest shop or the airport. Hotel rooms are small but clean. Unfortunately they are not equipped with iron, kettle or wardrobe. What makes this hotel great is the staff. There are nice, friendly and helpful. Once they even offered me a lift when my taxi didn't arrive! Here I would like to appreciate great job Mr Roar is doing. He is always smiling and wiling to help. He goes extra mile which is very unusual. Keep it up :)
close to the airport, has an own shuttle, you have to pay for the driver We took breakfast at 4am, so we didn’t had a lot of options The bunker bed in the room isn really safe. Good stay for one night
While the room was small, it was clean and certainly adequate for a short stay. More importantly, we enjoyed a delightful and relaxing dinner on the back patio. The halibut, wine and beer were all wonderful. And the early breakfast buffet was chock full of healthy options, including yogurt, fresh fruit and granola. The airport shuttle bus was punctual and very convenient.
