Everything excellent at the hotel BUT the web site says there is a restaurant next door where a breakfast can be obtained. This is not the case... All staff were friendly and a taxi cost £6 into town.

Jusdt staying one night with one child on a leisure trip. made the booking in a hurry and didn't notice there were no breakfast facilities. Annoying in the morning to have to head off elsewhere for breakfast. Hotel not up to usual Premier Inn standards. Looks a bit worn and dated and old rooms keys not keycards. Needs an upgrade... I visited this Hotel as part of a large gymnastics squad. On arrival the lady on reception 'Lisa' was outstanding. Very friendly and helpful beyond duty. The hotel itself is very clean and tidy. My room was clean and a good size, plenty of storage space. The shower over the bath was very powerful and hot which was great. The... More

Myself and my partner stayed here last night and to be honest it was alright. Good points first - receptionist on arrival was lovely very chatty but lovely. Reasonably priced. Nice deep bath. Triple glazing so very little noise from outside if any. And next door to a decent bar especially if catch cocktails on happy hour!!! Bad points -... More

We stayed here on business for 3 nights. Staff were very helpful, polite and friendly. The room was clean and serviced each day to a good standard. Plentiful tea supplies given when we requested more, also extra towels were not a problem. Ample parking and well lit. Stair case paint work a little tired but obviously get a lot of... More

When we arrived the receptionist was lovely offered us loads of useful information. Room was very clean. However as the evening went on the noise from the room above ours was awful. The noise of children running from one end of the room to the other and what sounded like jumping of the beds! It literally sounded like they were... More

Hi Shawnee I'm really sorry to hear you & your family were disturbed by noisy neighbours. Our quiet time is between 11pm - 7am but our teams should still speak to guests causing excessive levels of noise. We'll get this picked up with the team to ensure that noise complaints are followed up appropriately. Thanks for taking the time to... More

Had the carvery here on Sunday, worse one I've ever had. Chef looked fed up, soup was cold but I thought well at least the veg/meat looks nice. What a disappointment, minimum wafer thin meat, and the veg (ALL of it ) was cold or just about warm. The Yorkshire pudding was so tough it was difficult to even cut.... More

I feel for the staff of this hotel. I think they have a hard job. I suspect they have to deal with quite a few irate customers. The hotel itself is an older model and would benefit from a refurb. I mean in this day and age what hotel has no air con?? or customer lift?? or dining facilities? That... More
