I have seen many reviews like "horrible", "never again".... Indeed it's an old hotel and not maintaned well, but you can't get more for the price you pay. Bedsheets and towels are clean, staff is helpful and food is more than OK. Especially dinner. It's retro style and there are some failures, but again; you can't buy a car for...

Thank you for your review, which shows the right spirit for the area in which the hotel is situated. We hope more people will make decisions appropriate for their needs and contact staff in the advised way to enable the large support team to assist in any way they can, and to make the majority of guests enjoy their stay....

When built several decades ago, this was probably an opulent thriving and quality establishment. Not so now. It is much closer to being a low value backpackers hotel where clients want no more than a very basic room room in which to crash after partying hard in one of the many nearby nightclubs which loudly trade until 5am. It is...

Dear Stephen, We discussed matters at length and I hope to receive the article you advised me to read and act upon. Dante Alighieri is indeed quoted verbatim on many occasions; yet we have to gradually turn things into something not only acceptable, but (it is hoped) something good. Thank you for your kind assistance during your stay. Furthermore, I...

This hotel is way beyond its best, rooms are damp, furniture falling apart. An indoor pool was advertised, but when the kuds tried to use it they froze, no heating in it at all! When my son reported a cockroach in the bathroom it was suggested he leave the plugs in ! Food was appalling ! The same food day...

Dear Jo, Thank you for your review. The advice about the plugs sounds banal but is actually a very good point because, much of the time, it is via that portal that problems escalate, no matter which hotel you stay in. It's part of the adaptation to the climate that we have to make, and the advice was based on...

Stayed here in the middle of the season in July. The hotel has an ideal location, especially if partying is what you want. We booked it as a cheap base and I suppose you get what you pay for. The shower wasn't attached to the wall so spent the week holding it above my head. We had a room at...

Dear sir, As you know, I offered assistance which involved the intervention of the local pharmacy, or use of our First Aid kit, if required, which, of course, included plasters. None of that was taken up by you, though I was more than willing to help. I say this to put matters in perspective. I trust that, as you did...

I have just returned from an 8 night stay at the St Georges Park Hotel. Although I had stayed here 10 years ago, I read the Tripadvisor comments, and I was worried that I had made a terrible mistake – but this was NOT the case. I was welcomed by friendly Reception Staff, and my 2 Bedroomed Apartment was great,...

Thank you for your positive review. When matters run well, the hotel is indeed great value and can be a cheap yet more than adequate staging post for visiting the wonderful island of Malta, recently voted in the top ten islands in the world to see. Regards, Graham Powell
