I booked a late deal holiday for my husband and myself about 3 weeks before departure and only read reviews on the accommodation afterwards. These represented a great contrast in views but as dedicated self-caterers (really self-catering, not eating in restarants) we went with an...More
I've stayed there with my cousin for 2 days. We booked two rooms which were under our budget and were not disappointed with our decision, as the rooms were spacious and had a proper clean toilet and other things of need. Food and services of...More

We have arrived back today from our short break in Malta. We booked the Burlington Appts last minute, mainly because the price and availability was right.
Our appt was very basic but functional. Although, we spent very little time there, only to sleep and rest....More

Avoid going there if at all possible. The lift has been dangerous for a very long time and I mean VERY dangerous. It stops where it likes , it stops in between floors , it stops and doors do not open , it stops between floors and DOES OPEN. All this happened on my visit. If a fire broke out , and that could happen because of the litter left in the stairwell , then God help. There is no emergency number within the lift itself , so if it stops you are on your own. The only marks in the lift were what appeared to be human nail scratch marks - someone suggested that that was where they found Terry Waite !! I slept on the vinyl covered sofa , it had a slash in it. There was no shower curtain , the water poured out onto the floor , causing one of our group to slip and fall - heavily. They did not change a - sorry THE , just the one for 3 of us , - towel or any linen. Half of the appliances had the wrong plugs or simply didn't work. There was no safety/fire instructions ANYWHERE in the room. With a group of all males , cheap and cheerful can sometimes be accepted ,this was way beyond that. We were a rugby group , and WE were appalled , so that gives you an idea of what to expect. Things were so bad that one of our group , a solicitor concerned about the dangerous state and conditions , contacted the travel agent with the very long list of serious complains and a refund of quite a few thousand pounds was returned to the club.
Have a look at all the other reviews and you will see the same complaints coming up time and again. Its a dump and a dangerous one at that. I hope you are not intending to take a family or children there , if you are DO NOT !!
