Fully equipped housekeeping cottages located on shoreline of Lake of the Woods. Beautiful protected beach area, docking, motor boat, canoe, & kayak rentals. Appeals to holidayers looking for a quiet, well appointed lodge environment.
Our stay was excellent, the cabins are in a beautiful location with a great view of LOTW , great hosts who were able to supply us with a few things we forgot to bring. They were always a text away for any information or tips we were looking for. Coming from Sudbury our primary goal was to fish Lake of the woods, Charlie supplied us with a boat for the duration and set us up with hot fishing spots where we got our fill of shore lunches and walleye to bring home. I even caught my first musky (46") which was epic in every way. All in all a great vacation and we got to bring our dogs along with us which made it even better. If it wasn't so far away we would make it an annual event.

Spotlessly clean, well equipped cottage with a comfy bed and a great view. Good kayaks and small open fishing boats available to rent. Charlie & Dawn were great hosts. Went fishing for a couple hours with Charlie and Walter (their friendly pooch and had great fun.

We had a brief but wonderful stay at a cabin - apparently built in the 30's. A place to relax and enjoy the Group of Seven views from our window. The owners were fantastic - friendly and helpful. Some of the nicest people we had met in our travels. We would definitely consider going there again for a quiet get away in the Fall.

If you want to experience the beautiful Canadian Shield and Lake of the Woods with your family you will find no place better than Laughing Water Lodge. Great cabins and great hosts. Swimming, fishing, paddling, camp fires, right outside your door. We have been coming here for many years and planning to return in 2017.

Our family has been coming to Laughing Water lodge for 3 generations and now the 4th generation is being introduced to this great tradition. I can think of no better place to spend time with family and friends at the beach, in the water, or on the water. Barb and Rob are great hosts making you feel right at home in the cozy lakefront cottages. Sunsets are unvelievable! I can't imagine summer vacation without our time at Laughing Water.

Stayed overnight. Loved the cabin. Super clean and everything is here to cook meals and enjoy your stay. Access to canoes, kayaks and a beautiful private beach. Dog friendly (which is awesome). Family owned and ran. They clearly love their guests.

This was our first family vacation in Canada, we had a great time! The hosts were very gracious and welcoming so we felt right at home. Our 2 kids had a most enjoyable time on the sandy beach, and the fishing was great! The resort is a true gem in the wilderness. The loons and owls are very active at night, very peaceful. We have been going here for 18 consecutive years, and it gets better every year. We love this place. The log cabins are awesome with everything you need in them. The sunset views are one of the best we have ever seen. The hosts, Rob and Barb, are very accommodating and make you feel like family. We are already booked for 2018.

Another perfect summer vacation with family at Laughing Water Lodge. Weather was great for swimming, kayaking, fishing and camp fires. OK a little hot for fishing, but perfect for swimming! In the 30 years (give or take) of coming to Laughing Water Lodge, we always leave counting the weeks until we return.

We have been visiting Sioux Narrows since 1999, the day we found Laughing Water Lodge we knew we would be customers for a long, long time. Eight years later we are still enjoying the lodge. From the first phone call 8 years ago to today the experiance has been nothing but awesome!! Rob and Barb are always attentive to our needs, they take the time to inquire about family & freinds when we check in. Every morning they say hello & check on our day after our day of fishing. When we leave we always get a thank you and treats for on the way home. The lodges are ALL clean and comfy (we have stayed in everyone). We have stayed in much pricer lodges but nothing compares to Laughing Water. Im sure there there will many more years of fun for my family, my friends and me.
