My partner and I were after a relaxing weekend hiding away after an extremely busy month each at work. The Spice Island studio was perfect! Excellent service any time we needed help, owners went out of their way to help us enjoy our stay. The studio is set up for a couple's retreat, great DVD collection and awesome spa! I've...

Stayed overnight on a driving holiday, perfect spot to unwind and relax, spa bath was great (unfortunately not working at time of visit) could hear the action from the Phillip Island Track during the daytime, so for a petrolhead was great also

My stay at this establishment never eventuated but I must say I was absolutely disgusted at the service I experienced. My husband and I were supposed to stay here for two nights, arriving on our wedding night. Having booked online 3 weeks earlier I realised the night before our wedding that no deposit had been charged to my credit card,...

I read the the reviews & some of them are pretty bad. My partner bought me two nights here for a Christmas present so I wasn't going to change plans. In all honesty, most of the reviews are some-what correct. I'll start with the positives: The hamper was just beautiful, juice, milk, cereal, condiments, fresh fruit & yoghurt, all replenished...

I normally check Tripadvisor before booking anything but this time we didn't and what a costly oversight that was. The poor reviews I have since read, echo our sentiments entirely. To start with, the design of the studios was ludicrous. There’s a serious lack of privacy for going to the bathroom with a big open space right above the toilet,...

Fantastic weekend away in a cosy cabin with very accomodating hosts. As long as you have a car to get around the island, Spice Island is a fantastic place to stay as it is a 10 minute drive to anywhere in the island. What makes a holiday on phillip island is the company you bring and the beaches you relax...

My partner booked this as a surprise night away and after reading some of these reviews I wish he used Tripadvisor as some of our experience matched a number of the negative ones. The accommodation was very clean but the unusual setup of the bathroom with an opening into the living room made my heart sink. While we have been...

In a nutshell - roof over your head with a heater. Firstly the positives - close to the beach, had a working heater, spa bath. Negatives; The design of these studio's are extremely dysfunctional. They feature a downstairs double bed, which is two singles pushed together and makes for a terrible sleep; a "lounge" with no lighting; a bathroom with...

My husband and I came here just for a peaceful night away. We definitely got exactly that. The loft was amazing, we had a beautiful breakky hamper for us which was full of goodies. It was such a bad weekend weather wise but being in the loft felt extremely cosy and welcoming. When I went outside the chooks were there...

Awesome little place very quiet surrounds and the owners were very helpful with local information! When we arrived we were given a bottle of champagne and our hamper full of goodies for breakfast! King size bed was very comfy! Close enough to all the attractions but far enough away to feel like ur alone!
