Staff were really on the ball, can't fault them. The only reason I'm giving this 2 'stars' is due to the fact the size of the food portions was poor. The main course was about the size of a normal starter on any other menu I've had at other hotels I've visited. The wifi was a bit of a joke...

I've had a quick glance of the other reviews on TA and must say I am a little surprised. We spent a single evening here recently and, at the price point, I thought it was very good value for money. The room was large, well appointed, clean and a lovely big comfortable bed. We ate a late bar lunch and...

We were there for an overnight spa break. Our room was clean though the decor rather dated. The spa facilities were excellent . Our main disappointment was the restaurant. We had booked for a particular time in the evening. After being seated we waited 15mins for our order to be taken. It then took a further 45 mins for our...

Enjoyed staying here because in a funny sort of way didn't realise I was staying as everything was totally easy and no problem. Good helpful staff and all the food and drink was fine. Particularly enjoyed the breakfasts and pool.

Had booked a massage which was amazing but from hotel room to spa the place was absolutely freezing. Room wasn't cleanest few issues which are wee things which could be easily overlooked but mould and mildew round...

On arrival we were greeted by the friendly receptionist Maslisa who directed us to the health and wellbeing spa. Natalie and Adrienne were on front desk in the spa , both very helpful and made us feel welcome. I had my very first full body massage at the hands of the lovely Robyn who was so professional, one of the...

Stayed this weekend in a double room on a DBB rate for my husband's birthday. I had booked direct through hotel on a special offer for spring, got a great deal which included a £10 credit which could be used in the bar. We made use of this and enjoyed a couple of cocktails in the bar which was very...

We arrived on a Friday in March. It seemed only one of the public rooms was open and heated. Everywhere else was cold. The next day the hotel was fuller and so the heating on! Maybe it just wants to be a wedding venue as the grounds are nice.Wallpaper coming away in rooms and just a bit shabby. Wanted to...

We arrived to a busy reception but didn't take too long to check in considering, approx 10 mins We stayed in room 109 which was directly beside the lift, concerned at first but should not have worried as this did not cause any issues, room okay, clean but a bit tired in places, view of a roof and wall so...
