Excellent large bedroom and lounge overlooking Allan Water river. 17 minute walk from town centre. Quality of finishes in rooms and bedroom unbeatable. Tea and biscuits on arrival. Excellent thick Duvet. Excellent full English breakfast. No heating switched on in room but weather mild for December.

Stayed here recently for a few days with the family and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Despite being 50-something, this was my first time staying in a B&B and the whole experience at Ciar Mhor has certainly sold the concept to me. The property is large and set in a stunning location beside the river Allan and yet only a 10...

This is a stunning house in a quiet and beautiful setting. I spent a very relaxing night here ahead of a conference at Stirling University next day. Received a warm welcome and my room - and the rest of this amazing house - was spacious and spotlessly clean. I was lulled to sleep by the gentle sound of the Allan...

The room Jean gave us was a lovely spacious bright room. Jean welcomed us and gave us a key so we could let ourselves in when it suited us. It was a pleasure to have breakfast with the other guests. Ciar Mhor is in a great location for touring or visiting locally.

Ciar Mhor is a lovely welcoming place - & Jean is very accommodating, cooks you what you want for breakfast. Lovely comfy lounge, very clean. A jolly nice 10 min walk or so to Dunblane. Lovely views. Would definitely stay again.

We were recommended to this lovely guest house by a fellow Andy Murray fan! It was really lovely. The lady who runs it was so lovely. The breakfast was really excellent. We didn't have an ensuite room but the bathroom was just next door.

Ciar Mhor is set in the most beautiful garden with views down the river. We were welcomed by Jean with tea in the lounge and our room was beautifully decorated and very clean. The breakfast was good and lots to eat. The view from the bedroom window was stunning. We would recommend this experience to everyone. Thank you Jean for...

We had a lovely stay. Large comfortable room and en suite. It was spotlessly clean. Hosts were very friendly and the breakfast was delicious. Highly recommend. We arrived in the dark and we're delighted to wake up to a stunning Riverside view.

Stayed for one night with my family ( two rooms). Best nights' rest for my entire holiday - spotless large rooms, lovely living room with views down to the river. Great big bathroom we had exclusive use of accross the corridor from our room. En suite room was very good too. Very welcoming hosts, gave us the time and space...

Ciar Mhor is situated on the banks of Allan Water, just 10 minutes from Dunbaln town centre. The views of the river from the dining room are stunning (picture attached! It made sitting down for (a very generous and nicely cooked) breakfaast the perfect start to the day! The rooms are large, confortable and well appointed, (although not all have...
