Been coming here for over 20 years, place well by it best by date. Tired, dated and not that clean as well. Spoke to front of house, receptionist and manager just not interested in my comments, manager actually walked off while I was speaking to her.

Dear Andrew W, My thanks for taking the time to leave your comments, of course they do not make pleasant reading and I apologize if you feel we are falling short. As a guest who has stayed with us over a long period of time then you will have seen that over the past 3 years the hotel has been significantly invested and upgraded (so i am not quite sure how it can be past its sell by date?) Our service and cleanliness are normally excellent and I very much hope you choose to come back to us and see this 1st hand. I would certainly value speaking with you further over your concerns. Yours sincerely, Martyn

Went to the January Party Night with a group of friends, and what a great night we had. The staff were excellent and very attentive, we were welcomed in with a glass of Buck's Fizz and then taken to our table. The 3 course meal was delicious, the food was excellent. Sometimes

Dear Donna A, Thank you. It is always lovely to read when a guest has enjoyed their time with us but for those of us who celebrate their Christmas in January (as they are looking after others during December) it is especially pleasing for me to see you enjoyed your night with us! I very much hope you do come back to us to celebrate this coming Christmas and my thanks for the willingness to recommend us to others! Thanks again, Martyn

Stayed for the weekend - whilst attending an event in the town. Staff at reception were pleasant. Room was nice, recently refurbed, modern, fresh and clean (although we did have to pay a premium/a lot extra for this - otherwise we would have had one of the very tired rooms).

Dear Albadoogle, Thank you for your review, I am glad you got to experience one of our newer rooms but just to clarify we do also have standard rooms that have been refurbished available that costs no additional premium (subject to availability). I will certainly follow up with our team over the breakfast issues (it is likely that as we have been quieter over the festive period a lot of our breakfast was to order as appose to on display - we need to communicate that better). I will follow up with our maintenance team to ensure the heating is on at the correct level and I assure you when the lobby is buys it is a fantastic environment to sit and enjoy! My thanks again for your comments and I hope you have a wonderful 2019. Martyn

I've stayed in many fairly high end hotels around the UK and US but this stay was amongst my favourites. I arrived a little early but it wasn't a problem, the reception staff checked my room was ready and checked me in straight away. He was genuine and helpful, something you

Dear vexey, Wow! Thank you so much for the lovely feedback - myself and my team have loved reading it! For me it is feedback like this that really makes the job worthwhile and shows the effort we and other hotels put into service training, standards and those little touch's really make a difference to our guest. We look forward to seeing you back soon. Thank you so much for your review, Have a great New Year! Martyn

Stayed here after a Christmas bash in the hotel. Standard room but very large and well equipped and comfortable. Double aspect was nice. King size bed with pillow menu. Would benefit from having plugs with usb sockets so you can leave the plug head at home is my only gripe.

Dear Bertie1224, My thanks for your review. We always put a lot of time and effort into the hotel at Christmas time (not saying we don't the other 11 months of the year!) and it is very pl;easing to read when a guest has attended one of our events, stayed with us and enjoyed all aspects of their time here. Thank you. Martyn

I believe they are but best call and ask directly as I think there is a limited amount of rooms for people with dogs

Yes the pool is free to use for all residents & includes towels. On some occasions the pool does host swimming classes so its best to check by calling them directly on 01536 264568 if you have an idea of time you are looking to arrive to avoid any disappointment. Martyn

Hi Mandy, I'm sure you won't be disappointed. We had some challenges recently due to our support staff provided by agency not turning up and not providing any cover - however this has been rectified and all the treatments and breaks since then have given great feedback! Thanks for reaching out, we look forward to seeing you. Kind regards, Holiday Inn Corby Team
