I was attending a friends funeral so not a happy occasion but made special by the staff at the Woodlands. My friend and I flew down from Scotland so it was only an overnight stay but was very pleasant. My friend also had booked a private room for the wake at Woodlands. The buffet provided was excellent. Our room was beautiful...

Early Mother's Day treat with my daughter at Woodlands Park on Saturday. Excellent tea- the option of a savoury version for one of us meant we didn't go into sugar overload! Sandwiches, cakes and scones all delicious and savoury options very tasty. Staff were very attentive and the service could not be faulted. We ate in Bensons restaurant and my...

My husband booked for dinner and a nights stay. We arrived to find we had been upgraded to a junior suite. The room was fabulous and I received some treats and a lovely card from the staff. Speaking of the staff, you couldn't get a better bunch. They could not do enough and were soooo polite to our wonderful waiter...

About 35 Min drive from Heathrow airport into the quiet countryside, this 18th century hotel is truly "handpicked". The moss covered aged roof may give a false impression at the first look but then when you enter in, there's wonderful interiors with world class modernization in the rooms. I came in at 8 am but was given an early checkin...

We arranged last minute treat and a lot of places booked up. We called for a table but we did not get an option when booking of the restaurant or Bensons where we ended up. We would defiantly have booked the restaurant which was not fully booked. The hotel reception area was set with chairs for a wedding they appeared...

We attended a charity ball last night at this hotel and consequently stayed the night. There were about 150 of us and I was very impressed with the quality of the food. Whilst not haute cuisine it was well presented and hot. Something that does not always occur with such numbers. We had an executive room which was clean and...

Visited for a corporate event. On arrival had a few bags but no offer of assistance, room looked clean but bathroom looked very tired, The iron that was incorporated in the room was useless as appeared to only be set on a mode to burn shirts. At the event the service was shockingly poor with people being kept waiting for...

We were made to feel very welcomed by Mary on the Friday evening. This was following us having a very stressful fortnight so it was good to get away. After Mary explained everything to us, she kindly showed up to our room. It was clean, tidy, quite quaint as it was located in the roof. It was well equipped. The...

This overnight stopover left us with mixed reactions. It was the second time we'd stayed here and I feel that it had changed a little this time. The building is imposing. No doubt of that. It's a huge edwardians pile stating impressively in its own grounds! The entrance and lounge is impressive and exploits the ageless elegance of the building....

A unique country house hotel in Surrey Woodlands Park Hotel in Surrey, near Leatherhead and Cobham, was originally commissioned by English industrialist William Bryant, son of the founder of the match company Bryant and May. Built in 1885, the house was a modern marvel and one of the first in the UK to have electric light. Over a century on, the house remains as impressive as ever. Situated near to Cobham and within easy access of London, this 57 bedroom hotel is set in landscaped grounds and gardens, making our hotel one of the most perfect wedding venues in Surrey. Offering a range of classic and executive bedrooms and suites, Woodlands Park has a choice of bedrooms to suit everyone.
