My husband and I arrived Saturday night ready to celebrate our wedding anniversary to see that a large wedding was in full swing that evening. At first we were slightly concerned as we really needed a quite (and indulgent) weekend away to relax, however we was pleasantly surprised to find upon check in that our room had been upgrade to...

Great Hotel, great place, great stay. Delicious English breakfast! Staff very gentle and discreet. Surely a place to pass at least one night if you wish relaxing in the countryside. Excellent location to reach the south-west of London.

A great hotel in a really beautiful setting. No special occasion, we just fancied a night away. Bedrooms are spacious and very clean, restaurant food was outstanding and service really good without being 'busy'. Highly recommended.

A lovely old Hotel full of character in a rural setting in Cobham, Surrey. The staff are helpful and the hotel is surrounded by wonderful gardens. We had a delicious afternoon tea which was beautifully presented and served in a lovely room overlooking the gardens.

Stayed at the Woodlands Park with my girlfriend, sadly just for one night. On arrival, we received a warm welcome at the reception desk and given the key/card to our room on the second floor, along with a personal letter from the Manager, welcoming us to the hotel...a very nice touch. The room was lovely, spotlessly clean, with a lovely...

The price of our room was £195 for one night so my expectations were high. What a let down. The room and bathroom were freezing we were supplied with a noisy fan heater which didn't heat the room. Breakfast was awful no choice offered. My husband is Muslim so doesn't eat pork. My breakfast was served cold with a human...

This is a hotel full of character and brimming with history. Set in its own grounds it is clearly being refurbished. All the rooms are now state of the art-very well appointed and laid out especially for an old building. The public areas are very traditional with wood linings and a first floor gallery but I suspect they will be...

Early Mother's Day treat with my daughter at Woodlands Park on Saturday. Excellent tea- the option of a savoury version for one of us meant we didn't go into sugar overload! Sandwiches, cakes and scones all delicious and savoury options very tasty. Staff were very attentive and the service could not be faulted. We ate in Bensons restaurant and my...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
A unique country house hotel in Surrey Woodlands Park Hotel in Surrey, near Leatherhead and Cobham, was originally commissioned by English industrialist William Bryant, son of the founder of the match company Bryant and May. Built in 1885, the house was a modern marvel and one of the first in the UK to have electric light. Over a century on, the house remains as impressive as ever. Situated near to Cobham and within easy access of London, this 57 bedroom hotel is set in landscaped grounds and gardens, making our hotel one of the most perfect wedding venues in Surrey. Offering a range of classic and executive bedrooms and suites, Woodlands Park has a choice of bedrooms to suit everyone. It has two great restaurants: the wood panelled Oak Room and the more contemporary Bensons Restaurant. The hotel also boasts excellent conference facilities as well as being the perfect training and meeting venue in Surrey. I am delighted to welcome you to Woodlands Park ... more   less
