I stayed one night at the hotel, having made the booking on the morning of my arrival date. It was all very hectic for me as as I got a short notice to be in St Helens the next day early in the morning and didn't want to risk being stuck in traffic on M6. Communication with the hotel was...

When I arrived at this Guest House on the 22nd February 2016 I must say I was pleasantly surprised after reading some of the reviews on here. My room was clean and cosy, wide screen TV worked fab, tea and coffee replenished every day. I stayed 4 nights and was even quite sad to leave. If I have to go...

Room was excellent, exactly what me and the Mrs needed for a cheeky night away (if you know what i mean)... Comfort and practicality of the bed is an easy 10/10, no complaints from me or the Mrs. Often stay in the Hilton but after finding this place ill never go anywhere else again. Thinking of having my summer holiday...

Big basic rooms, small bathroom, clean and tidy. No fuss. Good breakfast. Free parking and WiFi. Good place to stay when visiting friends or attractions. First night had room to myself for £32 then girlfriend joined for an extra £20. Can't go wrong really. Will be staying again.

This hotel is a joke and is the worst place we have ever stayed! Firstly you cannnot check in until after 5pm! The only place I've ever known to do this. Then when we did eventually get in, they had no record of our booking and no room for us as they were full even though they took my debit...

Without being too critical with this review, I will say that this guest house is only good if you want to get your head down for the night and nothing more. I booked this guesthouse over the weekend via LateRooms.com knowing full well that for £52.00 a night, I wasn't expecting a silver service by any stretch of the imagination....

Basic rooms. Clean bedding. Relaxed atmosphere. Ample sized breakfast. Getting refurbed, better late than never. Very good value. Looking forward to going back after the refurb. just hope prices haven't gone up. Parking and wifi (although slow) a bonus
