Never been to the Waterside Toby Carvery in St Helens before. When all said and done it remains a typical Toby Carvery. However, service was better than others and better than average. Food was good. Waiter was excellent. Would visit again!

We arranged to meet at this venue as a half way house between our homes .We decided to have the carvery which I must say was reasonably priced and really plentiful. We both enjoyed the meal and the very friendly service will be going back.

We stayed here for a week whilst having repairs done to our property. We had the disabled room which was very big. The bathroom had a low bath and a shower over it. All adequate for my sons needs. The room was more than large enough for him to move about in his wheelchair even though we had a cot...

Our first time here and the check in was slow, because the computer was slow! Room clean and ok. Nothing like as good as Putney Bridge, London, and not far off the London price. However the beds were comfortable, also the pillow. Breakfast a bit disappointing as Croissants hadn't arrived. Why not? Only toast available and it was a do...

I came here on a Saturday evening. Considering it wasn't too busy the staff were pretty slow at serving and seemed a little stressed out. One girl forgot to come back after giving us the deserts menu and I had to stop someone and ask them if we could order. The food was lovely once it came and the view...

I went kingsize on the carvery & recieved a mountain of gammon, beef, turkey, chipolatas & the cheese & onion pie. The cheese & onion pie was the best I have ever tasted, as were the yorkshire puddings. The roast potatoes were very good. The veg was nice, the only slight criticism would be I would prefer more veg choices(no...
