Yesterday, I went in with my partner and daughter in law and grandson, we were given a discounted deal with groupon, this was out of date as every time we called in there was no availability, but were assured by Julie that this would be honoured. When we arrived we ordered drinks notified the bar staff we were here on...

If you went to Tesco with a discount voucher that was out of date would they honour it? I am surprised you asked for an out date voucher to be honoured. You have six months from date of purchase to use the voucher. I am sorry that redemption has taken you so long. Sorry I was abrupt, but I was...

Located near the centre of Wokingham so very handy for the shops and businesses nearby. Car parking is available on the premises. Adrian and Julie are very welcoming and do excellent food, too. I can't miss mentioning the excellent breakfast I had there - superb start to the day. The rooms are easily accessed in a separate block to the...

My wife and I had a single overnight stay at the Duke's Head as we were visiting relatives nearby. The room we had was very spacious and comfortable with all the usual services, tea/coffee, TV and internet, etc. We had booked b&b and for breakfast we were offered pretty much anything we wanted and certainly more than enough for us....

Stayed here for a family Christening. Chose here as it had reasonable reviews and was located in the town centre and close to the Christening venue. Plus points: Good location. Reasonably priced. Good breakfast. Friendly staff and an excellent shower. Negatives: room was tired and needed a lick paint. Damp stains showed in bathroom. Curtains thin and let light in...

Arrived and was taken to a room that I very quickly realised was filthy! Thick layer of Visible dust absolutely everywhere, including the leather chair, lamps, bed and television. Bath had a bottle lid from the previous occupant in the plug hole so I'm pretty certain it hadn't been cleaned. Ain't missing on walls all over the bedroom/bathroom. Mould all...

Arrived at the hotel at 8.45pm Wednesday evening. Had four hour drive from Manchester. Decided to stay at the hotel as it was near the venue where I was going to be training and I like to support independent businesses, being self employed myself. I arrived and asked if the hotel served food and was told that had stopped at...

Thank you for supporting The Dukes Head. Sorry you thought The Dukes Heas was a hotel. I can see that this would create an expectation of having extended hours kitchen. Assuming the ingredients were available we would have endeavoured to make something to eat. At 20.45hrs there would have been no kitchen staff. With it being a quiet night there...

The room was aged and was in great need of refurbishment. One of the windows had cracks in a pane of glass. The bathroom had mould on the ceiling, a pool of water by the toilet and the bath plug had no chain on it. The smell was also very musty. The people were friendly and the breakfast acceptable. But...

We visited the Duke's Head using our Groupon vouchers. It was my daughter's 15th birthday lunch and the restaurant handled our party (14 diners) with ease. We had three different dietary requirements, one a severely restricted medical diet and several children, and everyone was able to eat at the same time all the food was beautifully presented and tasted very...

I recently held my 40th bash at the Duke's Head and cannot compliment Adrian and his team enough. The venue looked great after a little tinkering and the food was simply superb. All of my guests commented on what a top night they'd had and what a great venue. If you are looking for a venue for a party in...
