This is the second time we stayed at the Manisses and it was still as good as it was two years ago. Our room the Pocahontas was comfortable and clean. It was the same room we stayed in two years ago. We really enjoy the atmosphere of the place and the morning breakfast is always a treat with plenty to...

My husband and I recently spent three nights at the Guest House. The Mott room, with partial ocean views, was pricey at $290 for the quality of the room, but from my research it appears that this is in ballpark of most rooms on the island. The setting and grounds are beautiful with incredible views. The overall setting put us...

I stayed at the Manisses Inn and really enjoyed my one night. The room was comfortable and the breakfast was awesome! It's a terrific place very convenient to the ferry and the folks employed at the Manisses and the 1661 were excellent.

Had a wonderful stay at the 1661 Inn on Block Island, the room was well appointed and the view of the morning sunrise was spectacular. Our host was very gracious and the buffet breakfast that comes with the room is excellent. All of the Inn's staff are very pleasant and polite, willing to assist you at any time. I would...

I'll start by saying the hotels on Block Island are all rather expensive, it is an island after all, and there are many places with shared bathrooms. So it's not unsurprising that the hotel was expensive for my taste. The breakfast was substantial and not something that most other inns include so that was nice. However, I wouldn't by any...

No service. No information about hotel coffee in the am. No one offered to help with bags up 2 flights of stairs. No snack bar. When I asked for ice was told to go to kitchen and get it. For the money hotel was very disappointing. Breakfast at 1661 was delicious. Dinner at hotel in restaurant was delicious also and...

The hotel has updated facilities since our last trip. The conveniences are more modern but it still has all its charm. The breakfast is still incredible. The dinner at the Manisses was a highlight of the trip. TIP: Have the special coffees they serve in the lobby after dinner, its special.

Stayed for one week. We stayed in Palatine with spa tub. Very large room tastefully decorated. Staff at this hotel are all very friendly and genuinely warm. Breakfast is included at the 1661 Inn which is 100 metres up the road from the hotel. The breakfast was very nice with variations each day. The complimentary wine and cheese in the...
