We stayed there for two nights. We booked at the last minute so I can't complain about our tiny site. On registering we were given poor directions to our lot and everyone who came to visit us had trouble finding us....poor signage. We never did find the washrooms and the showers.....a nod in the general direction would've been nice at...

We stayed here for four nights as we were visiting family in Edmonton. It's a good campground, had a family atmosphere, seems like a lot of people that stay long term and/or come every year. As we were visiting family, we rarely were at the campground during the day, but from what we saw it was well run. It seemed...

A little hard to find and a steep hill to get there. It is definitely worth staying here. Sites roomy and level. Many full time residents whose sites were well kept and decorated nicely. Nice park for dog walking. Wonderful playground and picnic area.

Overall, the campground is nice. It location is surprisingly scenic being it is located in the river valley. However, when I had issues with a campsite that just would not work for our camping outfit, the staff (one lady in particular) was very unsympathic to my predicament and no recourse was given to me as a customer; on the contrary,...

We found this campground by accident and are really glad we did. We booked in on a Monday for two nights and have decided to stay a third. We are very impressed at how clean the facilities are. We are empty nesters, but enjoyed all the kids having fun at the park. there is lots of stuff for the kids...

Devon lions campground is a beautiful place to camp and accommodating for showers and power . But the staff are unapproachable ,also there are kids running around all night swearing and screaming. As well as staff doing yard work at early hours and dogs barking .

If you have paid for a particular site check it before you pay. You could pay for a full service site that won't fit your unit, and next to a family reunion, and end up in a no service site next to a dumpster. Managment doesn't give refunds or credits. They just don't care! They will tell you that they...

Careful when you book because they will take your money all day long, citing they have a 'no refund or credit policy'. Our group booked over 10 sites, the gazebo and the bbq (which isn't a bbq - it's a grill - which made slow cooking a roast impossible!). The river started to rise during the day and the park...

We keep going back year after year. Very quiet, great staff. I can't believe the review that says otherwise, maybe a bad night, but the RCMP patrol this park. We'll keep returning. Bert LaBuick, St. Albert, Alberta

19 April 2010 Just wanted to share my thoughts with a recent overnight trip to the Lion's Campground in Devon, Alberta. We live in Edmonton and wanted to go somewhere close to test out our equipment for the upcoming season. There were three of us - on motorcycles - Vstrom 650's. An adventure-dual-purpose motorcycle. We were informed that only one...
