We stayed a week room only (111b) and had a great ski trip. Maria Alm was a surprise as we expected it to be smaller than it was so with a bus a short walk from the hotel we had a great time.
We stayed here for 1 week - 2 adults and 1 child. Rooms was very comfortable, clean but dated. Hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. We took a breakfast and dinner meal package - good choice, food was very good (see photos). Price is...More
The hotel is very well located for skiing with quick access to multiple awesome slopes. The staff was very friendly with us, speaking both English and German, and always having a genuine smile. The room was always very clean. We enjoyed the quality and diversity...More
Stayed in this hotel recently. Rooms are of good size but it does need a bit of modernisation and 'glamming up' as there are some very traditional recently refurbished Austrian hotels nearby which makes it look a bit tired. There is no breakfast included in...More

Our visits to Salzburg and Vienna were made from areas that were closer. If you do make trips to these cities they would be long day trips and as you are not likely to make a second visit I doubt the Salzburg card would be very useful. However, that may depend on what you are doing whilst on your visit.
During your visit to Marai Alm you would need to spend some time in the villiage and also try to visit beautiful local places such as Bischofsofen, Saalfelden, Lofer, Bad Reichenhall, Zell am zee, St Johann and Badgastein.
Whatever you choose, you will enjoy Austria. !
