We stayed here for two nights at the end of a walking/sightseeing holiday in Salento. We were looking for a quiet time with relaxation, nice food and a pool, and we definitely got it. We stayed in a junior suite (they upgraded us, which was nice), and, yes, it was a bit dark, but it's an ancient stone farmhouse, so... More

We stayed at this Masseria for 2 nights and I have to say that the grounds are just stunning and a real experience! We wondered why there are not many reviews for this place in 2016, but now we understand! It's difficult to be honest as 3 points would be unfair due to the beautiful grounds, but on the other... The most authentic and pleasing of the masserias (fortified farms) that we stayed in. Elegant grounds, buildings, rooms with vaulted ceilings. A fine kitchen but dinners available in high season; otherwise, hit and miss. A fine base from which to explore Alberobello, Martina Franca, and Matera

Really friendly people, however we were expecting them to be able to recommend or organise wine/olive oil tasting and they were unable to do this. Perhaps it was because we were visiting out of season but the hotel did not have a particularly lively atmosphere and there was not really anything to do, even the closest town in about 30... More

Spend three nights in heaven. Marzalossa is a gem hidden on an old large domain with tranquility, splendid location, romantic rooms and a attent staff. The pool is marvelous and we spend several aftenoons alone on the site of it. Breakfast is simple but good and nice and eating in the garden is the real holidayfeeling we needed. Being near... More

Though we have been to Italy many times, this was our first trip to Puglia. We found Masseria Marzalossa on line and stayed one week in September. Masseria Marzalossa is a beautiful place to stay, even more beautiful than any of the photos. The rooms have a casual, comfortable atmosphere and the grounds, pool, and service is impeccable. The owner is... More

I traveled to Fasano Italy and stayed at Masseria Marzalossa from August 19th to the 23rd. Found the place on line and couldn't have been happier. The family has owned this place since the 17th century and they have been able to keep the original charm paired with all the latest amenities. It is located only short car drives away... More

This was our first family holiday in Italy - would the Masseria be a good choice for two easily-bored teenagers and their work-weary parents? Bit too tranquil for the children, perhaps? Not a bit of it. For a start, there's a heart-breakingly beautiful swimming pool, surrounded by red and purple bougainvillaea, and lemon trees, where you bob along in the... More

We stayed at the Masseria for 10 days as we were in Puglia to get married. We loved the experience and highlights to note include the beautiful picturesque setting, the lovely pool and the food. Dinner is a fixed price and 4 courses and the meals we had in the Masseria were by far the best we had in the... More

We had a glorious 3 nights in La Marzalossa as our first introduction to Puglia. The Masseria was fantastic, An oasis of calm based around interlocked courtyards of an old renovated family masseria. The rooms are well appointed and some of the common areas eg the pool and orchard are spectacular. The staff were extremely helpful & made our stay... More
