This is one of those sites that you rarely find. It is simply stunning with amazing views of the river down its valley. Hours spent h Just wondering the views and our pitch was right on top of the view. There has been mention of wildlife in other reviews and this is well worthy of note. Buzzards, many species of butterflies, lizards and lots more. The patrons were very good indeed and always presented a happy cheerful outlook all the time we're working so hard. There was excellent food provided in the on site restaurant and very reasonably priced. The facilities were very good indeed. To sum up, Excellent.

Stunning views from our pitch looking out over the Loire which made our stay here so memorable. We pitched our van facing the view. The butterflies and insects are amazing but take plenty of repellant. Tame baby rabbits eat from your hand. Pitches are a good size and all have water and electricity and most have the view. Free Wi-fi in the bar. We did not eat in the cafe but the croissants in the morning are delicious, the best we’ve had. The pool is a good size and very pleasant. The site is situated down a narrow steep lane and not easy to negotiate with a large van. Ours 7.5m and my Husband did a great job of getting us in and out. The big downside for us were the loos. The toilets are the strange design with no seats. During our stay they were not cleaned regularly enough. On several occasions there was was no soap or loo paper. However when they were cleaned they were acceptable. Overall we enjoyed our stay and stayed for longer than we originally booked for and great value at 15euros a night on ACSI. I would not recommend the sit for large vans. The site is down

My wife, dog and I had a wonderful 6 days of relaxing, walking and enjoying the scenery of the Loire Valley. Good size chalet, well equipped for the reasonable cost. Met several like minded people of various nationalities who were also impressed with the site and location.

On a bluff overlooking a bend of the upper reaches of the Loire, this is a brilliant campsite. The facilities are clean and functional, the pitches are spacious, and the views are stunning. Best of all are the helpful, cheerful proprietors who go out of their way to solve any problem. Oh - and the rabbits that run all round the site. Altogether a very good experience.

Sadly we were only able to stay in this delightful site for one night. Although the swimming pool was not open, and the site had only recently opened, we were delighted with the motorhome pitch we were able to choose for our stay. We would love to return in the summer and see the site at its best. Peace and tranquility reigned. Thank you for a lovely stay.
