This hotel has potential -it is by a beautiful lake - but it is a potential so far unfulfilled. As another review mentioned- it is hard to find the hotel because the name is only shown in Cyrillic script and is not well signposted. The room we had felt dirty. One of the spare blankets had what looked like a...

No heating, no duvet and 3 degrees outside at sunrise. Food is standard and service average. Such a shame because the place is magnificent and the house beautiful. The only stars seem to be in the sky...

Hotel is located on the Plav Lake shore, surrounded by the mountains. If you like peace, quiet and relaxation, then this is the right place. This area is very interesting for all people that like nature, mountaneering, hiking, trekking, biking, rafting, kayaking, flyfishing and other outdoor activities. Hotel and restaurant are very good, with highest standards.

We arrived in Plav at dusk, very very tired after a long walk in from Albania. All of the small hotels around the centre were full. Then along came a real good samaritan. A local man, who put us in his car and drove us round checking out the centre hotels again personally, before finally driving us out to Kula Damjanova....

This is definitely not a bad place to stay of you're in the region. In fact it's a good place and comes short from the maximum rating because of a few details. Let's start with the most important, the good stuff: the location is amazing, the view on the lake and surrounding mountains where breathtaking and it's the view you'll...

Take an opportunity to lunch in the garden in front of the lake. Take the house recommendation you will not regret. Visit interior because you will see wooden furniture like nowhere else. Stuff is polite and helpful. Road to the Kula Damjanova is not so good. Also, point directions are missing.

This is my second time staying at Kula Damjanova with my family and I will definitely go back. Everything about this place feels very genuine and natural. From wooden furniture, hand made tapestry and artifacts to amazing organic locally grown food. The staff is very warm and friendly. Both times we took a room with a view. It was a...

We had very good time at Kula Damjanova. For vacation with small children it was very convenient, spacios and quiet and I would recommend it. The nature is stunning and the hotel architecture and setting is beautiful. It is family owned hotel with wood and stone architecture. The staff is very kind and helpful. Rooms are very nice and clean....

We booked two nights in this hotel, but we fled away after the first night. The hotel is very hard to find: the sign post on the road is only in Cyrillic alphabet. Nobody of the hotel’s staff can speak English. Our room was on the third floor, there was no elevator. Because of that we left most of our...

Awesome hotel, at Plav Lake. Very friendly people but limited English/French/German. If you have a car this is an exellent place to stay if you want to visit Prokletije park. Food is okay and cheap. Rooms are cosy and traditional. The pier was underwater when we were here so swimming possibilities were limited. The view is splendid.
