At the Barceló Cáceres V Centenario hotel, guests have called out the mixed value for money, noting that while room quality is commendable, parking and dining costs can be steep. The attentive staff and excellent service, especially the breakfast buffet, earn rave reviews. Amenities like the well-equipped gym and comfortable beds are popular, though the bar's late opening has drawn some criticism. Despite its tranquil atmosphere and cleanliness, the hotel's location is somewhat distant from the city center, and some guests have experienced issues with noise and air conditioning.

We were a family group to celebrate a wedding anniversary, we booked several rooms, suite, triple, premium doubles, in general the experience has been quite good but not excellent.
Positive 👏the rooms are quite spacious and clean and the beds are very comfortable
The bathroom of the spectacular suite has a huge bathtub and a large shower, which is very appreciated, the waiter service was excellent, we had lunch and dinner a la carte (expensive prices) but well cooked, very well served and with a lot of flavor, the breakfast buffet was very varied and very tasty. Quality is appreciated for the freshly squeezed orange juice, the pool area and gardens, everything very beautiful and a large pool, all very well maintained.
They gave us two complimentary waters for being a member of the My Barceló club, which was very appreciated.

Negative 👎 in the suite, the bathrobe was broken, the towels scratched very hard, it was unpleasant, the fact that in a suite one of the beds is a sofa bed is somewhat shabby, it would be appreciated if they were beds and NOT a sofa bed.
The bathrooms in the rest of the rooms have glass in the toilet area and it is uncomfortable and somewhat dangerous.
The pool does not have an adapted chair to save stairs, which is something incomprehensible in this century.
They told us that we would have a welcome gift that never arrived and on the day of departure we talked about it at reception and no one knew anything, they gave us water and a bag of potatoes, we would have appreciated some special detail for having celebrated our anniversary there every year we celebrate the anniversary In a different city they have always had a special detail with us.
They charged us 10 euros for making the advance check, it will be company policy and we respect it but of course we are coming from Madrid and we want to make the most of the weekend and visit the city,,

These things ultimately determine whether you stay at a hotel again or not, and although everything was quite positive, we missed something special from the hotel because of our anniversary, we were a group and it entails a benefit for the hotel.

The Hotel Barceló Cáceres V Centenario was a perfect choice for our visit to Cáceres by car. The hotel is only a ten minute drive from the centre, which made it very comfortable to get to Bishop Galarza Parking and explore the city without worrying about traffic or parking availability.

We loved the free buffet for breakfast, which was generous and varied, ideal to start the day with energy. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the room size was really large, allowing us to rest and relax after our sightseeing days. In addition, the air conditioning worked perfectly, keeping the room at an ideal temperature, and the TV had an HDMI socket on the wall, allowing us to connect our computer easily.

I recommend making the Reservation through the hotel’s website, as the My Barceló program brings benefits and exclusive offers that are worthwhile.

The experience at the hotel's Galeon restaurant was another highlight of our stay. I want to make special mention of the waiter Jon, who recommended a rice with an Iberian secret that was simply scandalous. It was a delicious dish that made our dinner a memorable experience.

Also, although the hotel offers parking, we found it very easy to park nearby, which made our stay even more comfortable.

In short, our experience at the Hotel Barceló Cáceres V Centenario was excellent. The combination of comfort, good location, and attentive service makes it an ideal choice for anyone who wants to enjoy Caceres.

We have been in this hotel for 2 nights, we are regulars of the Barceló chain and we are unique level members (Máximo), that being said, the hotel is quite good, clean and the best thing for us has been the staff, both at reception and at the buffet .
Upon arrival they upgraded us to a better room, but, “supposedly” being a unique level, I have certain benefits, such as VIP amenities, complimentary water every night and a welcome gift that is normally cava and chocolates, they only gave us They put the water on, and on the last night they gave us a glass water bottle with a cap (like the Coca-Colas in the bars) and there was no opener, so... a little disappointing in this regard.
The cleanliness of the room was good, the soundproofing from the road was spectacular, you couldn't hear anything.
It is highly recommended to hire breakfast, it is very complete, and if you go with a baby of +6 months as is my case, they have the typical Ikea high chairs and the fruit and some vegetables are cut perfectly so that the baby can eat them alone following the method blw.
We took the parking lot, it is true that it is “expensive” but the spaces are huge and it is very comfortable, you can park outside but there is not as much parking as some comments say, so I recommend it.
It is far from the center, it is best to leave the car at the hotel and take a VTC.
I want to highlight the attention at check-in and checkout, upon departure we were greeted by a super nice blonde girl, I'm sorry for not remembering the names.
The staff is impeccable, the image is spectacular.
In short, a good hotel to rest and get to know Cáceres, without being in the hubbub and parking problems of the center.

Completely renovated hotel located outside the old city. Rooms are average size, well equipped and generally quiet. The day we checked in the hotel was busy and seemed full. When booking the hotel I asked for a room far from the elevator and to our surprise I got a room stuck against the elevator; quite a bad experience the elevator was noisy all night and we barely slept. The second day I asked to be moved and of course we were moved to a more quiet area. Breakfast is of standard assortment with availability of fresh orange juice. Outside parking is very very limited and the hotel has set an exorbitant price of 25 euros for inside parking, a price more expensive than parking in the old city.

Things that are important to us and that we look for in accommodation of this category, this hotel has.
Complete and varied buffet. Option of tortilla to taste and at the moment. Natural orange juice and very successful coffee machine. Room equipped with a full bathroom: hairdryer, bidet, stool, magnifying mirror, tissues... The pool has towel service and control of the use of sunbeds, which is appreciated so as not to run out and avoid the rudeness of some people . Bar in the pool area.
Gym with some machines and spa (although we didn't use them).
Easy-to-use air control in the room. Wardrobe with hangers, drawers, iron and ironing board. Full length mirror.
It is possible to park without using the hotel parking lot since it is in a residential area (and it was August).
Of course, if you are looking for a hotel with entertainment, it is not that type of accommodation.

We held our wedding banquet here on 10/08 and many of our guests stayed here, and all they have is praise for all the staff, both reception, kitchen, waiters, cleaning...
The delicious menu, the very varied breakfast buffet, you do not know what to choose from everything there is.
We stayed in the suite courtesy of the hotel and only have words of thanks, very comfortable mattresses, 10/10 cleaning and attention.
Huge pool and plenty of hammocks.
We can only give thanks

I'm still staying at the hotel on August 20, but I'm going to write an experience that just occurred to me.
I was taking a shower and the shower was too thick. So thick it filled the bathroom floor and the whole corridor with water. I was going to call reception through the room phone but surprisingly it was broken and wouldn't even turn on...
I called from my cell and right away they sent a plumber and cleaning. The plumber pulled even compresses and swabs from the shower. Once the drain was unclogged there was a horrible pipe smell in the room and right after my partner had to shower...
What I wonder is, do you really wash the showers when you make the room? 'Cause as soon as you open the shower 30 seconds, everything puddles...
I also did not like anything that the hotel has not suggested changing rooms at any time and do not think that we were compensated in any way for the lost time. We had to delay our dinner outing for over half an hour. Thank God we didn't have any Dinner Reservations but surely we would have lost them. I think the hotel should give us a little detail for having seen this disgust...
And well the phone didn’t bother to check it 😂 Good thing I won’t ask room service.

While traveling through Caceres, we chose to stay in this magnificent hotel: at night, you don't hear any noise, the rooms are very well soundproofed. They have a large and very comfortable bed.
As for breakfast, one of the best!!!!! natural juices, paneled honey, all kinds of fruits and very varied and delicious food. To all this, a very qualified, professional and attentive staff. We definitely recommend this hotel 100%.

The hotel is wonderful. Spacious double room with two very large and comfortable twin beds. Nothing is heard at night (room on floor 1). Pillow menu. Modern and functional bathroom with hairdryer. Large shower towels (which are often dwarf towels). The modern, spacious and very bright facilities. The pool is great with free towel lending. Cafeteria and restaurant with affordable prices for a hotel. Excellent breakfast buffet with all kinds of things (natural juice, champagne, Coke, typical products and everything you can imagine). Note that the celiac section is perfectly prepared. Super friendly staff. El
Hotel is not in the center but in 35' you are in the old town for a nice walk. It has paid parking but can be parked in the area (it is a very quiet residential area). If I return to Caceres this will definitely be my hotel
