We were here for Good Friday and could not have been better placed to experience the events relating to that. The location could not be better. The staff were a bit clinical and save for this I would give full marks. However, they were able to establish that I was staying at the parador in Toledo the night before and...

We ended our visit to Extremadura at Parador de Caceres. What an excellent decision! The location was superb, close to everything in the old town. Check in was fast, friendly and efficient. We loved the ladies at reception, they were great! We were delighted to hear Queen Sophia was also visiting that evening....we caught a glimpse of her too. Room...

This parador was a great choice in Cáceres, located right in the heart of the old town, and a nice stroll from Plaza Mayor and other attractions. The rooms are very spacious, with beautiful views of the city and the mountains. The bathroom was very ample, with a nice little window, and double vanity. The breakfast was excellent, with a...

The Parador is in the centre of the historic city, surrounded by historic monuments and buildings. The rooms are spacious, clean and tidy. The staff are friendly and efficient, especially Luis a real treasure. The restuarnt was exceptional, we had the gastro package which was superb and good value.A bonus free parking.

This Parador is in a truly remarkable location in the old walled part of the city. Access is a little difficult as is parking, but it is very well worth the effort and should not put you off visiting. All aspects were excellent. Food, service and the friendliness of the staff were notable.

Beautiful Parador in the heart of historical Cáceres. Friendly efficient staff. Comfortable room with high ceilings, comfortable bed, well appointed bathroom. Quiet location. Church bells ringing transport you back in time. Gorgeous medieval city with storks nesting on the nearby buildings. A delight!

The Parador in Caceres was wonderful. The location couldn't be more wonderful and unique, you feel as you where in a medieval castle and town,(Parador was built in the 14th century for Diego Garcia de Ulloa, a knight of the Order of Santiago and has the family coat of arms displayed.) but with all the amenities this was totally amazing....

Terrific hotel - modern interior design within old walls from the 16 century; spacious room, very quiet, good meals and friendly personel; in the very centre of the old town. Highly recommended if you plan to visit the historic district of Caceres.

Great breakfast, attentive staff, well-appointed rooms. Parador is situated in historic area in a historic building. Only negative is parking: about 10 free spots on location, otherwise a driver will bring you to a close-by garage for 17 Euro.
