Hotel is right on the Plaza de Espana which is very lively and one of the places to be in the evening. It is very pleasant but not a 5 star hotel in my opinion. Very clean, rooms are small. Overpriced which is why I have only give it 3 stars. Staff will park your car for you for 18.50E...

We stayed in a Merida Palace junior suite for 4 nights. Merida is centrally located in the Extramadura and the Merida Palace is a very nice and elegant hotel on its main square, walking distance to many restaurants as well as the most important sites. Ideally situated. Typical Spanish/Arabic decor. Recently and tastefully renovated. We had dinner one evening in...

Right in the centre of the city so great for tourism. Big spacious comfortable rooms in a lovely building with very nice decoration. The staff go out of their way to be helpful. And they serve a more than generous breakfast. All in all a very good place to stay while in Merida.

What a discover. Amazing staff, clean and a great option on your journeys to the South of Spain. We will surely repeat. Their little restaurant is great (yet breakfast could improve a little). Recently renovated and it shows.

The room was great - I thought because it was a deal and on the top floor it would be a pokey attic room, but it was a lovely attic suite with entrance hall, bathroom to one side and bedroom with balcony to the other. Huge, comfortable bed, armchair with side table. Nice looking bathroom, except the shower was a...

First of all this hotel was not cheap but it was for a special occasion. We stayed two nights and the room and bedroom were probably the best we've ever stayed in - very quiet, comfortable, particularly the huge king size bed. We did not use the restaurant but enjoyed two evenings in the bar with reasonably priced, well cooked...

We stayed here four nights recently and it was a great experience. The location is right in Plaza Espagna; convenient for walking to archeological sites from Roman to Islam to the more recent Christian period, for food or just to wander around the surroundings. The reception staff was very welcoming and helpful with information. Our room was large, comfortable and...

For me this is the nicest hotel in Merida and in the best location, the main square. It's not the best 5 star hotel by far but it's one of the best value hotels I have been to, I highly recommend it if you travel to Merida.

We enjoyed our stay at the Merida Palace primarily because of the convenience of the location, close to all the archaeological sites and museums we came to see. It is also within walking distance of both the bus and train stations. The room was large, comfortable and quiet. Whilst the weather was quite cold, we were grateful for a warm...

The hotel is very nice and in a fabulous place right in the middle of town. However the room is not adequately adapted which surprises me since this belongs to ONCE foundation one of the biggest associations for the blind and handicapped persons. There was no roll in shower, and the toilet was low not the standard high ones for...
