Despite a 2 hour long delay and hassles getting into our room due to Federica (the manager) not being there & her not organising for somebody else to let us in until I'd rung a second time, it was a lovely large room right on the piazza, with fabulous views of the goings on in the piazza - great people...

The owner, Federica, was not there to meet us on arrival. We were greeted by the waitress in the restaurant next door. My first and second encounter with the owner was "SSSSHHHHHH" while I was sitting in my room talking to my friend who had just called in to my room and was talking to me from the door to...

Very comfortable room, very clean. Very friendly reception from Federica who provides a lot of helpful advice and suggestions of places to visit. The location is perfect for exploring this area of Tuscany, and in the evening Monteriggioni is a very quiet and peaceful place and yet has many places to eat. Car Parking, just outside the walls, cost €3...

Great room looking over piazza. Very clean and roomy, this B&B managed by friendly and helpful Fredrica, is a delightful stay for a traveller happy to relax and take on medieval sites. The building oozes with history as it once was a police station with cells still visible to the left on entry. In the Monte Chiaro cellar below great...

Very nice, comfortable BB, nice friendly owner, breakfast like at home. The best-open a window in the morning and watch small square of this "town"- you feel as you travelled in time and now you are in mediaeval times. Very romantic place.

Stayed here with my wife on our anniversary in July 2015. The B&B is located right in the centre of lovely Monteriggioni. We have visited Monteriggioni many times before and always wanted to stay some time so we got our opportunity this time. We had a lovely room overlooking the beautiful square (well, church, walls and countryside behind). The room...

We stayed as a couple in Monteriggione at Il Chianti June of this year. Looking to perhaps book there again 2016 we realised that we hadn`t submitted a review and reading the existing ones were surprised that there were a number of negatives, totally contrary to our experience. Firstly it would be wise to understand that this is a small...

We found the perfect place to rest on the Via Francigena walk route in Tuscany. We had a very comfortable spacious and spotless room with beautiful views of the hills. Our hostess was excellent and very friendly. There was a large selection of food for lovely breakfast. We Highly recommend.

Ever since my first visit to Monteriggioni, I had wanted to stay at the B&B In Piazza, so I was very happy when our booking unexpectedly worked out after all. I had contacted the place over a month before we were about to pass through the area and had been informed that it was booked out. About a week before...

We stayed in two rooms: my husband and I had a room with a marvelous view of the castle walls and the surrounding Tuscan countryside, while our children had the huge triple room with a view of the piazza. Both rooms were very well furnished and the beds were utterly comfortable; the bathrooms were very clean and spacious. The triple...
