Me and my girlfriend had an 6 day trip through Tuscany. The Borgo Gallinaio was the best stay during our whole trip. When we arrived with car the property itself impressed us immediatelly. Clean, and arranged. Very nice welcome has been waiting for us. Very large room with kitchen, spacious feeling and all very clean inclusive bathroom. Since the property...

It is really a place to go if you want to see tuscan-style house with welcomming owners. i liked our stay in this nice house, we had rather big room, good bed and big territory to walk around. Housekeep speaks many languages and is always ready to help. I loved it.

When we arrived at this hilltop gem we were met by a very welcoming staff who were so eager to assist us in making our stay as comfortable as if we were part of their family. My wife & I are writing this because we want others to be aware of this wonderful Italian masterpiece. Our host Alessandro was helpful...

My husband and I were looking for an ideal Tuscan setting after touring Rome. This setting is exactly what we were looking for. It was easy to find, right across from the Monteriggioni hill town entrance. It was set back off the road and the historical buildings, olive trees and peaceful grounds could not have been more perfect. Our suite...

We really enjoyed our 7 day stay in Gallinaio in June this year. It lays just near Monteriggioni, 20 minutes away from Siena and at the foot of the Chianti and the Crete Senesi. Nearby you'll find olive groves en forests and you can easily spot deer and wild boar at nightfall. Alessandro and Carla really make this place special....

I stayed here with my family for a few days and would have loved to stay for much longer! Alessandro and his wife Carla are wonderful hosts and went out of their way to make our stay special. The location is wonderful - olive groves, woodland, peace and tranquility - a real escape. The pool was a delight and everything...

But Borgo Gallinaio has broken my rigid scepticism... Simplicity, style and extravagance. The ambiance is stunning, food is delicious, Alessandro and his family are warm, welcoming and helpful, service is of the highest standard, food is delicious... If you're planning a Tuscan vacation i couldn't think of anything better. One piece of advice - when you rent a car in...

Borgo Gallinaio lays in the middle of nowhere and close to all Toscany must sees like Siena (only 10 km), San Gimignano, Volterra and Firenze. Even Pisa and Lucca are within reach. Borgo Gallinaio is a small scale hotel with very nice and clean rooms of a former farm, now totally renovated. There is a swimming pool available in the...

A great place to stay: nice clean and large room, friendly host, delicious breakfast with all fresh and self made bread and other stuff. The view you have to the town of Monterigionni is magnificent! A place surrounded by green, olive trees and nature. This place has a lot of charm!

We stayed here for 4 nights in April 2012. Alessandro is very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. We sat on the balcony on our last evening with a meat and cheese platter and bottle of wine and watched the sun go down over the nearby hill town of Montereggioni. The place is spotless and so peaceful. Very relaxing...
