At first when we booked this B&B we knew that were a few stairs to reach it. We counted 148 stairs that gives you quite a workout. On the bright side your things are very secure at the location as I doubt that even the most hardened criminal would brave those stairs to rip you off! A couple of items...

Luckily for us, the hotel in the centre of Camogli was booked out and we explored other options. It turned out that this was a blessing in disguise. The area of Ruta, above the town of Camogli, turned out to be much more our type of place, quieter, less tourists and a much more convenient base for the many hikes...

We hit it just right: after the crowds went back to school, warm breezes lingering, and fruits of the summer's harvest. Luciano's apartment overlooking wonderful Camogli and Genoa beyond made this the best part of a Southern France-Italy trip. His dog Tobia made us feel at home too; he even kept his distance as we ate an extensive breakfast with...

Very nice B&B above the town of Camogli (5 minutes driving from the center), Luciano is indeed a great host, and helped us carry our luggage to the room (yes lots of stairs). Luciano has two rooms to share, we were located in the one facing the bay (other one faces the garden). The bathroom is to share but it...

When we first arrived and saw the stairs that led to I Maggolini we sighed because we had 2 large suitcases. The first minute experience with Luciano defined what standard of hospitality we were to expect. Luciano and friend snatched the suitcases from us, threw them on their shoulders and nimbly climbed the stairs effortlessly with us trailing behind in...

We stayed for 4 nights at this wonderful property located high above the lovely town of Camogli as part of a week long tour of the area. I wanted somewhere peaceful, with great views but above all, to be the real Italy and to be romantic. We certainly got that. Luciano was excellent in every way - he was efficient...

Hi Luciano and thank you for making me feel at home for 3 days. This B&B is a fantastic home away from home with great views and a great host. Very comfortable and peaceful getaway above Camogli. Great breakfast to set you on your way each morning and even some transport by Luciano if you are stuck without a car....

This place is fantastic. Luciano is the most warm and gracious of hosts. While the weather didn't totally cooperate, the views were still fantastic. Breakfasts were delicious and varied. Only warning, you need to be in good shape as there are a number of stairs to climb to get from the street level to the B&B. Can't wait to go...

The reviews are totally describing the place. Owner hosts you like a friend. Lovely decorated house. Very clean. Garden and the view is great. Great value. Breakfast was better than any hotel we stayed. I usually try to find these kind of places, where you meet similar life motta people. Thank you.

Thank Gorhan
