We stayed at villa Rosmarino for two week july 2015, and we loved it. The surrounding the vert private atmosphere and just a 5 min walk to Camogli - a very cosy village by the sea. plus the owner Mario has his eye on all detail - what more can you ask for !

Much the best place we have stayed in the area. The Villa Rosmarino is welcoming, friendly and beutiful with stylish comfortable rooms qnd lovely gardens. Breakfast was a special treat. Will definitely go back.

My Husband and I stayed at this delightful villa for 10 nights. We had the Terrace room which was immaculate and from our shower we enjoyed an amazing view of the bay of Camogli. Impeccable and stylish while comfortable and welcoming. Villa Rosamarino was everything and more of what we had hoped. We loved our stay at Villa Rosmarino. The Villa is incredibly gorgeous, from the delightful and comfortable rooms, through to the beautiful gardens and pool. This is just a great place to stay. Superbly managed with efficient service, nice rooms and excellent breakfast. Good sized pool, good views of the sea and the local villages. All I love in one place; quiet, beautiful, elegant, cultural, hospitality - all to perfection. It is like being guest at friends house. We have been there 7-8 summers in a row, and are going this summer as well - to stay in our favourite room:) We also love that children has to be of proper age to stay there...

Built in 1907 over a pre-existing structure, Villa Rosmarino is a typical Ligurian small palace with green shutters and trompe l’oeil which reproduce on the wall frescoes, decorations and floral motifs. To its first owner, a local sea captain who commissioned the building at the end of XIX century, Villa Rosmarino was their country home where to take rests in between long seafaring journeys, but also where the olives coming from the trees and land surrounding the villa were crushed. In the ground floor was an old oil mill to produce olive oil for the needs of the resident family but also for those residing in the neighboring villas. The grind stones of the oil mill have been kept after the restructuring and are part of the decoration of the garden of the villa. ... more   less
