The hotel is still in reasonable condition, but is really time for a good overhaul. The carpets are a mess. And the garden which used to be beautiful is a disaster. The food has improved significantly since our last visit. There is a good chef hiding there somewhere. You still get a good welcome as you arrive. I hope that...

The hotel is nicely situated near forest, nice for walks. Rooms are of good size but oldfashioned. Staff could be more friendly; they did not give the feeling they liked working there. Overall nothing special but good for a night sleep

Had one of the rooms on top level at the end of the corridor. Good size rooms, heater is extremely warm on high setting which is good for cold winter days. Room smells a bit dusty which feels like not alot of people have been staying in this room. Overall great lunch place, good service at the bar and resturant.

My stay of over 6+ weeks non-stop was very pleasant. One of the better choices in the township of Lochem. Reception: 7 days a week during day time there is always someone to serve you at the front desk. A few odd hours there is no one, which you could be waiting about 10 mins before he/she comes back. Just spend a night in this hotel with my son of 9. Nice surroundings, hotel a bit outdated but clean, small swimming pool. The room is nice and spacey. Also it is very quite. Dinner was above expectations and not too expensive. It is good for a night away!

You will find friendly staff, the hotel is really clean, relatively large rooms, nice breakfast with a good selection, but the entire hotel is everything but cool !!! Hardly anybody at the bar at night if you are in the mood for a last drink

Stayed here for two nights for a 3-day business course. My room was at the top floor, facing the garden of the hotel. It was an OK room, with a 2-person bed, a desk and a chair to sit in. I've only been in here to sleep and shower, haven't spent time or tried the internet. The lock on the...

Just back from a 2 night stay in this hotel .... what a rip-off. Dirty shower tiles, blocked shower drain, old stained mirror, worn door, no shower creams, no floor carpet, filthy dirty laminated floor, no in-room tea/coffee making facility, no in-room refrigerator, you hear all the noise from the bedrooms next door. Rooms are NOTHING like the website photos....

Stayed here for one night in Julyon a special price voucher (25 euro's 1 night no breakfast). It was main holiday seson and when we arrived the parking lot was nearly full. We had some diffiulty finding the hotel because our navigation system sent us op the little hill (Paasberg) on the wrong side. Anyhow; check in was rather slow...

Well this Hotel I took because I had to visit a customer here and I wanted to stay the rest of the weekend here. Main reason to choose this hotel was, that they allowed dogs, although only in the standard rooms. ( wanted the junior suite). And this was the problem, it was really a dog room. The smell of...
