I visited in November, it was an awesome stay. Services were appropriate. One can easily get to the main location by getting the bus connectivity. The location is quite with a good farm view. I would recommend this hotel.

We stayed here for the Amsterdam half Marathon. The hotel is close to the airport approximately 4 miles you can get free shuttle bus from outside the airport every 30 minutes that takes you to the Ramada hotel which is 200 yards from this hotel and this is free. If you get a taxi they will rip you off for €30. Staff are lovely friendly polite and will do anything for you .They speak perfect English. We wanted porridge for breakfast and they did not having any so they went out and bought some, they call it PAP. Breakfast is very basic €10 a day, rooms are very clean, good shower, food on a night is good €5 a pint,€20 for a burger, which is the norm ,would stay hear again.👍

The room and the bed wore too small for me and my husband .We had to sleep in a bed of 1.40 cm bright not to big at all and not to mention that in the bathroom we had only two big towel for the shower ,no refrigerator in the room . All of that for 80€ per day.Very disappointed .

Great place to stay. Close to the airport with a free shuttle. Getting to Central Station and the adventures in the city is easy; but takes 20-30 mins by shuttle and train. Hotel is clean and quiet. A peaceful place after an adventure in the city

Our family of 4 stayed for 1 night (Aug 2019). Overall experience is that we ended up staying in a "Haunted old farm house whose convenience is below par" as opposed to a regular hotel, paying 172.96 Euros. Details are below. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1. The supposedly free shuttle in Airport came one hour after we arrived. It was a 16 seater small van that got filled with in a few minutes with 8 people (and extra baggage). We could not get in and the driver was way too rude. He said we could wait for the next shuttle in another 30 minutes. When I called the Hotel the Customer Service Representative said she could do nothing about it and we were welcome to take a taxi paying 25 Euros. We took the…

The front desk concierge at Hotel Herbergh was very friendly and helpful, but that's about the only good thing we experienced. I'm not sure why Hotel Herbergh is catagorized as 3 stars, because it seems at best a 2 star. And I also don't know how they've achieved a very-good rating. We were disappointed and felt deceived by this rating. I booked this hotel because we needed three beds, since we were meeting our daughter in Amsterdam. The room description said comfort triple room and the picture showed a spacious room with three single beds. The room we had was very tiny with two single beds pushed together and a cot crammed in beside them, and there was no room between the beds to even get into bed. There was no elevator, so we had to carry our heavy bags up a steep flight…

Very happy to have found this delightful accommodation close to Schiphol, but with zero aircraft noise! Friendly family style reception staff, not a chain processing travellers en masse. We hired bikes from the hotel and cycled to nearby canal to see the windmill, and water craft enjoying the suddenly warm weather! And of course, a delightful terrace at Later aan het Water, watching the world go by! Excellent brekky with GOOD COFFEE! Highly recommend!

We stayed here because we had to leave for Amsterdam a day earlier than planned and our destination hotel was booked. This is a nice little somewhat typical European hotel, good staff, adequate space in the room and adequate facilities, not luxurious but certainly sufficient. It is convenient to the airport and the Ramada (located just up the street) airport shuttle allows Herbergh guests to ride. There is a nice restaurant inside the hotel as well. There is not much to do in the area and we didn't feel like going all the way to Amsterdam, so the staff suggested we walk down the street and catch the local bus to Haarlem and that was a highlight.

My husband and I stayed at Hotel Herbergh during a layover from Morocco. We took the Ramada shuttle from the airport without any problems and walked down the street to the hotel. No one was sitting at the front desk and we rang the bell as the sign stated. A very rude young lady came out and without a greeting asked our name and checked us in. Later, I asked her for assistance in placing a local call and she rudely stated “you can use your own phone for this ya know.” I asked her name and she said “Kim” and if I hadn’t already pre-paid for the room I would have left. My husband and I walked back to the Ramada and I explained my situation to the receptionists there and they exceeded my expectations and helped me find the restaurant I was looking for and I wasn’t even their…

We are sorry to read that you had a bad experience with one of our staff members, we asked her reaction and she said that she did ring the restaurant for you so your statement that she did nott help you is not correct. Also that the service of the rest of the staff was poor does not make a lot of sense to us. The FREE shuttle service to and from the airport is leaving at the Ramada hotel because the bus is to big to turn at our hotel, the shuttle is at walking distance from our hotel, as stated in the confirmation you received from us. But perhaps you did not read this. Ofcourse you are not obliged to take the shuttle as there are also taxi's in the Netherlands. Good to read that the room was clean. Have a great day!

My Fiancé and I started arranging our bags right when we came to our room to prepare for an early flight the next day. During this time, we opened the window to change the air in the hotel room (knowing we would shut it in a few minutes once the air in the room freshened up). During this time we had a person put their hands through the window and under the curtain. My fiancé thankfully ran to the window and yelled loudly. The "burglar" and him made eye contact and he ran away. Thankfully, nothing was taken! My fiancé went to reception and informed them, he came back only minutes later saying they offered to call the police but he said they were not as shocked as we clearly were (we didn't call the police because nothing was taken)! We both stayed up all night without any comfort…
