Many years ago I had a business trip to Bergan Op Zoom and enjoyed the town. We are spending a month in Amsterdam and we decided to do one of our Road trips to the area. Was pleased that what I found was even better than what I had known.

You have to remember that this is an old hotel. It is not fancy and new but it has it's own charm and style. The rooms are clean and of good size. We had only one day in Bergen Op Zoom but we really liked our stay at Grand Hotel. It is located in the heart of the city with... More

Best hotel in town and well located, everything you need deffo 5 stars and more if i could. It's mostly booked out but when you get in no issues. Only issue is the Car park very tight to get into and parking spaces limited

We used the Draak on the recommendation of a business contact. The hotel is excellent and comfortable and easy to find with parking close to the hotel. The restaurant is also excellent for dinner and the breakfast has most things you would expect to see. We look forward to our next visit.

We stayed for one night in the hotel. The room was very big and held in the original style with visible timber in the roof. It was full of atmosphere. We arrived rather late so we decided to have our meal in the restaurant Hemingway. A lovely well prepared meal, served by a knowledgeable waiter, who informed us about the... More

Comfortable and clean rooms. Free wifi in the rooms. Wonderful staff. So helpful with information about the area. Right on the market Square. Our room in the back was very quiet. Very convenient to everything. We would highly recommend this historic hotel!

This is the second time we used this hotel. Previous year, in our way to a dog show in Zeeland, we chose it [via internet] on a basic criteria like "a decent hotel which allows dogs". The experience was amazing: gorgeous architecture and beautiful, classy interiors. Although went on fire few years ago they succeed to completely rebuild everything keeping... More

Location is nice and central thats where it ends, My room was claustrophobic the bathroom was one of the smallest I have witnessed in my 32 years of traveling, The wifi is so poor it is unusable, breakfast was average, I have stayed in far superior Bed & breakfasts at a fraction of the cost. Not a hotel I would... More

This is a beautiful, old hotel situated in a wonderfully quaint town. This old building is in excellent shape with rooms scattered haphazardly on all floors. This is not a traditional block room hotel but instead rooms are sprinkled three here, five there. This makes for quieter halls and less foot traffic by your room. As with most buildings in... More

Lovely room and bathroom facilities, shower was lovely. Staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast very nice also. Central location, front door is on to square in area but not noisy in the evenings or night time. Would recommend. Nice restaurants within a couple of minutes walk, less. Haven't eaten dinner in the hotel itself.
