If you are not familiar with Moxy (by Marriott) it is a hotel with clean, minimalist hotel rooms that are only for sleeping.....they want you to do everything else in the "cool" lobby. My room and bathroom were large. There is a big TV, but no closets, coffee/tea sets, or work surfaces. The bed is Mariott comfortable. They provide a very nice European-style breakfast and coffee in the lobby, or you can get a full breakfast in the restaurant.

The shuttle service is not well marked and is combined with the NH Hotel shuttle. Pay attention because the hotel does not appear on the printed airport signs. You can find the schedule, about once every half hour, on the bulletin board at the hotel bus stop. Also, when you return to the airport, you need a ticket for your departure time at the front desk (sort of front desk).

If you get a good rate, this is a great place to spend the night at Schipol.

I did enjoy my stay, well that was prior to checking my credit card statement a few weeks later to find 75.10 euro charged to my card during checkout even though it was pre paid!!!!

It had taken me a good 3 to 4 hours to resolve this after contacting Hotels.com & my card issuer (both of whom were very helpful)

Moxy failed to reply to the initial email from Booking.com so i contacted Moxy via messenger.

Moxi replied that the over charge was returned. No form of compensation and when i asked for suitable compensation i was offered a breakfast!!!! Sorry not cutting it for a 75 Euro error i was lucky enough to catch onto.

For the second part of December our hotel suspended the operation, our collagues had a limited acces to the systems, thats why they didnt answer for your message. With the “Moxy” in Schiphol we found a practical and relatively cheap hotel for our overnight stay before our onward flight. Clean room, functional bathroom facilities, decent bed, although the pillows were a bit too small for us. Yes, you can hear the traffic with the windows open, as you would expect. Water and coffee are free and you can tap them yourself.
The shuttle bus (for the Moxy & NH hotel) was absolutely punctual and the drivers are very friendly.
Check-in went well; we didn't have to wait long in the evening. There is a gym and even a climbing wall in the foyer. However, no one was doing any exercise there, as the guests obviously preferred to hang out at the bar or in the lounge area.
In short: everything was very good for the price. And as a Marriott Bonvoy member you collect a few points.

Unless your packing very very light and have a very short stay pay extra for elsewhere. The pictures looked great. But where deceiving. My friend and I are staying for 3 days, I am here for 2 weeks rest of my stay is elsewhere THANK GOD. The room is a minute big two twins. There is NO closet only a metal rack with three hangers. No in room safe. The towels, toilet paper and tissues could scratch glass they are so rough. You get one pillow per person. I used the app and asked for more and a high floor. Got ground floor and one dirty pillow. Asked for more left for day came back no pillow. Stopped at the front desk where some 20 yr old with an attitude seemed struck by my request for two more pillows. Waited in the room no pillows arrived. Called the front desk no one picked up. Waited now 30 plus minutes still no pillows this time got someone. They brought two pillows. I asked about AC how it worked as room was so stuffy I had cracked the window open. Was snootily told the AC will not turn on while the window was open. Charming attitude. Would never stay here again. This is like two steps up from a hostel. I’ve travelled all over the world and in some seedy cheap motels/hotels for $430 dollars for 3 nights I expected a clean room and towels that would cut my vagina.

The rooms are spacious compared to other hotels in the area and are very fashionably designed. The common spaces at the ground floor are great to hang out during the day, to chill or get some work done at the windows-facing seats with power plugs. There's a good atmosphere and you can grab some snacks or drinks there 24/7.

It's a trendy place to stay around the airport. The hotel has a large private on-site parking and a convenient shuttle to the airport, from where you can also directly connect to Amsterdam city center.
This hotel is great value for money if you're looking to be in the area. From some rooms you can even see the planes taking off!

I arrived two hours before the check-in time 15:00 and even though the room was already ready I had to pay 25€ extra for the "early" checkin.

I could understand this if you want to check at 7am but for two hours 25€ felt a bit like squeezing the lemon. (I have never seen this in all my years of travels)

On top the room was not clean, found some cutlery of the previous guests on the ground next to the bed.

The shampoo and shower gel were empty which makes you wonder how much effort is being put in the housekeeping.

For me this hotel was a one night stay but even then I would never book this hotel again.

WARNING! If traveling with a family, I highly recommend to stay away for this NON-Family friendly hotel. The night manager named Chloe is an absolute terror. We made a reservation via the Marriott Elite line for our family of 4 and called to the hotel to confirm they they had amble room for our two children who are under 8 years old. The day manager said it would be OK for the children to receive a blanket and pillow and sleep on the floor. When we arrived that night, Chloe was rude, unprofessional and unhelpful to assist our family. She said our only choice was to purchase an additional room at 240 euro to accommodate our family. We cancelled and went to the nearby Renaissance Hotel which was more accommodating. A couple points about this Moxy hotel. NO free breakfast for Elite members (I am Titanium for life), No free welcome gift, No free drink upon arrival besides some college jungle juice mixed with rum and the only offer is 500 points. Most Moxy's have table tennis, pool or some sort of family games. This Moxy offer none of the above but only coaches and chairs. If I could give this hotel a negative, it surely does deserve it. Especially the night shift team leader named Choe! What a dreadful person!

Dear Brain, Thank you for taking the time to fill in a review for our hotel! I am sorry that your experience with us did not meet your expectations for your stay. Our rooms are for the maximum of 2 people per room, therefore we cannot have children sleeping on the floor with both parents as this exceeds the maximum amount. I am sorry to hear how you feel about this, please know it is also not possible to book only one room when filling out the correct amount of guests staying. We do indeed not provide breakfast as complimentary and instead of this we offer the choice between an extra 500 bonus points or a €10 voucher per person, per night for our food and beverage options in the hotel. I am sorry that this was not up to your expectations. We have some games in the lobby and bar as well as a table tennis table in the bar area which you can use and enjoy with your family and friends. We had offered a 50% discount on the needed second room to be as welcoming as we can be without overstepping the no more than 2 guests in the room policy. I am sorry you feel this way about our employee, Chloe. May I ask what happened that made you feel this way? Of course, we regret how you currently feel about the hotel, as we always do our up most to accommodate every guest! If there is anything we can do for you, please let us know!

I stayed here for 3 nights in September. The rooms were clean and modern however the toilet made a dripping noise so the en-suite door needed to be firmly closed. The shower also didn’t stop dripping as well so had to wrap the head in a towel. The rooms could have included tea and coffee similar to Moxy hotels in the U.K. The room had good air conditioning. The tv was good however the YouTube Internet tv did not work. In terms of customer service there were some positive elements where one of the crew members let me borrow a charger at reception for my mobile as I forgot to bring an adapter. I bought a new USB cable which then worked in the room. The rooms have a USB-A charging port only. I was also grateful for the welcome Got Moxy cocktail. However, there were shortfalls in customer service mostly from the Crew Leader. She rarely smiled and everything was too much of a hassle. I asked about getting a mobile key for my phone and she said to wait at the front and the queue was massive. I then asked her the next day and she said ‘Did you not get it yesterday?’ - this just comes across as poor customer service. I shouldn’t feel like a burden. Also the food could be better. The wait times were not the quickest and when I ordered an apple pie all I got was the apple pie! Surely a bit of ice cream would have been nice especially when it cost 6 Euros. The location of the hotel is not great for pedestrian access. You have to walk along a verge to get to the road and there is no pavement. The hotel is designed for being an airport transit hotel for car and shuttle bus access. It takes about 40 minutes to walk into Hoofddorp so OK if you don’t mind walking.

This hotel is a convenient shuttle bus ride away from the airport—and the airport train station to get to the city within 20 minutes. After a full day of exploring the city it was actually nice to come back to a quieter location to relax in the welcoming restaurant/bar area. The shuttle schedule to and from the airport was ideal for my plans.

It was great! The shuttle service is easy to find and is also very cheap 4.50 € per person, when we arrived we had to wait in no queue to check in, we had mentioned in conversation with the very nice staff that we are there for spotting and then he asked if we would rather have a room on the 4th floor, which I then also happily accepted, the rooms are top equipped, showers very large, you can watch boring planes from your bed, which I personally found very nice, breakfast top, pizza and mocktail top,
Conclusion : Staff all look friendly, very great place recommended, definitely again

Beste Lucas, onze shuttlebus is een gratis extra service van ons hotel. De shuttle bus vertrekt vanaf 06:00 elke ochtend om elk half uur vanaf het hotel en vanaf 06:15 elke ochtend om elk half uur vanaf Schiphol. Hopelijk beantwoordt dit je vraag!
