Viamede is your personal Ontario resort. No two guests are the same, and Viamede Resort is something different to every guest that stays with us. For some, we’re a cottage that feels like home, where you make friends with the neighbours and grill up masterpieces on your lakeside patio every evening. For others, we’re a boardroom with lots of natural light, fresh air for break-out sessions, and a hearty lunch for the whole team. And for some guests, we’re a secluded retreat out of the city to reconnect with a loved one over an exquisite meal and many glasses of local wine. We’re pet friendly, family-friendly, nature-friendly... basically, we’re just really friendly. We’re not big on rules, complicated prices or policies, and ultimately we just want you to have a good time, whatever that means to you.

My wife and I visited for a 2 night stay in one of their king suites. The stay was a nightmare. The power had been knocked out, so we went into the main building to warm up since we had no heat. We moved back out to our room with firewood in hopes that the power would turn back on. The power never came back on and a few hours later the water was no longer working. One of the attractions for the room is the jacuzzi tub but it couldn’t even be used. No power, no water, no apology, and no discount. That’s right, they still charged full price for a room with no power, heat, or water. We will never stay in this resort again. Spend your money elsewhere.

My husband and I visited for the weekend, and we were the only vacationers at the resort. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience. We were welcomed and pampered with a lovely, clean cottage and fantastic room service for all of our meals. The food was outstanding, and our bonus was watching the lake from the cozy, warm cabin. The surroundings are picturesque. We also walked along the trails with our dog, and after a snowfall, it was gorgeous. Our only downfall was the lack of wifi, but shutting down for the weekend was not a bad thing. I highly recommend Viamede.

My husband and I spent two lovely days in one of the cottages. We were the only guests on the first day of our stay, but we felt very welcomed. The cottage was nice and clean, breakfast was tasty and Ben Samann, the owner, even gave us a boat tour of the beautiful Stoney Lake. We wish the WiFi was a bit stronger to cover our cottage, however, we didn’t have time to miss it with all the hiking, camp fire and ping-pong at Viamede. Thank you!

Went to Viamede and the service was awful. Very expensive. My wife and I expected better. Staff in restaurant were not friendly. Won’t be coming back. Down the road was much better. Burleigh Inn. Or Burleigh Falls I believe. The owner was rude. Bad wine list at restaurant. Sommelier Lance was gone. He used to have good wines

I had a wonderful stay here and absolutely loved how dog friendly it was. We had a one bedroom cottage right on the water, the cottage was very cute and cozy and our view was beautiful. Breakfast was included and it was delicious, left here feeling so relaxed wish I could have stayed a little longer.
