Filoxenia is well situated a couple of minutes walk from the beach and our apartment had beautiful views out over the sea to the southern tip of the Peloponnese peninsular. The outstanding feature of this place is not so much physical as the wonderful hospitality that my wife and I enjoyed during our 12 night stay. The staff are friendly...

Not 5 stars because this village has not a perfect beach, such as the rest of the island, but very difficult to find this quality and price close to the other beaches. We had 2 rooms, 2 families with kids. The hotel is new, 100 metres from the beach, modern and clean, has big rooms and bathrooms, it is quite...

We stayed at these lovely apartments with a group of 8 friends from Australia for 5 nights. The apartments were situated in a quite area but with a very easy walk to the main beach and restaurants. The apartments were well appointed, clean, bright and airy. The pool and surrounds were delightful and a welcome reprieve from the heat after spending...

We had a fantastic time staying at these family run apartments, more like a resort! The owner's family and staff couldn't do enough to look after us. Excellent advice on restaurants, local attractions/beaches and things to do. One evening we were even treated to some impromptu music by the owner's wife and a friend, very special. The apartments are modern...

We booked in as we were visiting for a wedding. We just had a really wonderful time during our week's stay with host Vassili and family. I spent four nights in this hotel in Agia Pelagia with my whole family (Including parents and a 9 month old baby). The hotel is located in a quiet street off the main street of Agia Pelagia and is only a short walk from beach and restaurants (by the way, the taverna "Stella" was in our opinion the best choice...

A truly relaxing experience for those looking for peace and calm in front the sea and the pool. The name of the hotel "filoxenia" complies in deed with the managements concept of offering truly a unique Greek filoxenia and hospitality like feeling u are in home. Gorgeous work.

Our entire family were in Kythera for a wedding June 2013,, Vassilis (the owner) could of not done more for the family's that stayed at Filoxenia...he provided "extras" that no other manager would of provided as "complimentary" and we will forever be greatful for his generosity. The apartments were spotlessly clean, and the breakfast was buffet style, with fresh ingredients,...

Kithira is one of the most beautiful, wild and ''unknown'' islands of Greece. A trip at this dreamy place is unforgettable. What makes my experiance even more pleasant when I visit, is the lovely Filoxenia apartments in Agia Pelagia. Only 100 meters from the beach, Floxenia offers luxurious, spacious apartments with many facilities. Modern, cosy bedrooms with livingrooms and kitchenette. The...

We had a great time in the Filoxenia hotel. George and his son Vassilis have created a very nice boutique hotel. The rooms are decorated very tasteful. The beds are superb. It’s like lying in your own bed. The room are very clean. The breakfast is very good and includes a variety of Greek products (yoghurt, fruits, honey). The staff...

“If you have a baby stroller ask for a room on the main floor. If you seek a room ON the beach this is not the right hotel but as I said, it is only a 5 min walk to the beach. I didn't have wireless in the room but there is free wireless service in the lobby. If you get a room close to the pool/lobby you may get covered even in your room.”
