Spent two night at this Bayview Pines Country B@B in Aug of this year. What an absolutely gorgeous place. Views of the ocean from the front and back. Large well maintained property, with a cozy spot on the shore across the street which has Adirondack chairs and a fire pit with fire wood/splits ready for use. The breakfast is very tasty and there was no waiting at all for the meal to be served. The owners are lovely people and made sure we were well cared for during our stay. We would certainly recommend this wonderful B@B to anyone looking for a nice place to stay in the Mahone Bay NS area. Close to town and all that the area offers. I could have sat on the lawn all day and watched the numerous various sailing vessels sail past. Very relaxing to say the least.

What a lovely view everywhere you look. The rooms are sweet - clean and nicely decorated, and unique. The breakfast we had was absolutely delicious and filling. The folks who own it are charming and kind. They even have an adorable doggo. Only a few minutes from Mahone Bay (lots of views, shops and restaurants). They seem to be following all Covid protocols, and it felt very safe (re sanitizing, distancing, masks, etc). The location is quiet, so your sleep will be restful. There are lots of lovely spots outdoors to sit and enjoy the view. There's access to the bay (very close, essentially across the yard) to walk down to the water. Only a few rooms had separate beds, but there are some. Would be a lovely getaway spot for couples. Went with three other friends, so took 2 rooms with mult beds, and the rooms we had all had their own full washrooms.

Chris and Joanna are the lovely proprietors of this welcoming B&B. They are both so helpful when it comes to asking what is nearby and things to do. Whatever you ask they strive to be helpful and make your stay enjoyable.
It’s very clean, very well maintained as well as eco friendly. The breakfasts are excellent with locally sourced food and we were lucky enough to have homemade marmalade!
It is off the beaten path so therefore quiet and serene with Mahone Bay just a few minutes away by car. We were lucky to have wonderful weather so we could sit on our veranda and take in our surroundings. Would definitely recommend this B&B. We want to come back!

My husband and I have nothing but good to express about our stay at Bayview Pines Country Inn Bed & Breakfast.

Joanna & Chris are gracious hosts that made sure we had everything we needed during our brief stay and served us the most delicious breakfasts during the duration of our visit ~ we guarantee ~ you will not leave their table famished. The breakfast area was a delight for us! We appreciated the fact we had opportunity to meet & greet with other guests and thoroughly loved the bright decor and refreshing scenery all around :)

Everything about the house and the landscape truly made it a country style home! From the fourteen acres of pasture to the lovely views over the ocean, it all made our stay a peaceful one ~ well done Joanna & Chris, you both have done well :)

We highly recommended you seek out your future stay at Bayview Pines Country Inn Bed & Breakfast ~ you will not be disappointed 😔

This is a fairly typical B&B. The hosts are very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was quite nice. The room was clean with a good mattress and comfortable easy chairs. However there was no desk or table. The room included a small refrigerator, a microwave is available in a common room. The shower and tub need updating. No air conditioning, so the room got a little warm in summer. Location was great with a nice view from a hilltop. Our room didn't have a view, but there are tables and chairs for seating on the lawn with views. A short drive from Mahone Bay which has many restaurants and a cute town center. Also not far from Lunenberg.

Chris and Joanna are very experienced managers of this rural BNB. We had a main floor suite for a foreign night. Although we had had a lengthy discussion about accessibility there were issues which made this day challenging particularly access in the bathroom area. On the other hand cars were moved and anything that could be done to facilitate was done. Setting is quiet and peaceful and crisp prepares a mean breakfast. Rates were quite reasonable and little details like beach towels, communal fridge, coffee makers towel dispensary and additional glassware were all readily available.
As we were leaving before breakfast on the final day of our stay we were offered a breakfast to go.
All in all a lovely weekend.

We spent the last 5 days of our East Canada Roadtrip and it was an amazing and relaxing stay. Joanna and Chris are lovely hosts. It was nice meeting other guests whilst enjoying the delicious breakfast. Fridge, Microwave and Water dispenser are available. It's a 5 minute drive to Mahone Bay with a few nice shops and restaurants. Lunenburg is also easy to reach and Peggy's cove is about an hour drive. We got good advice from our hosts, where to go to enjoy beaches or hikes. Whenever we'll come back to Nova Scotia, we would make sure to spend some time at this lovely place!

We stayed at Bayview Pines in July 2023 during the Storm of the Century -- pouring rain, endless thunder & lightning, washed out roads and bridges, etc. But we were dry and cozy in this B&B on the top of a hill, overlooking the ocean.

This is a nice establishment, with clean, quiet rooms. The hosts are friendly and helpful, and prepare a delicious breakfast. There is a common area where you can get clean towels, other supplies, ice, glasses, travel info, umbrellas, etc. There is plenty of parking and a large yard with views of the Bay. No complaints from us!

Note: There is a minimum stay of 3 nights. Ask for a room with a veranda.
