On the road to Roseway Beach in Churchover are 5 little cottages, each named after a village in the south shore. We stayed in the “Birchtown” 2 bedroom, jacuzzi tub bath and fully contained kitchen. Deck overlooks cove and owners allow use of canoe and kayak as well as fishing rods. It was a very clean and cozy cottage with tv, and wifi. After staying at the dingiest motels in town for the same price I vowed never to stay at one again! Boulder Cove will be our go to retreat in all future ventures to NS. Proximity to the Black History museum (very modern) and to town of Shelburne. Clyde River has a restaurant called Anchors Aweigh with seafood selections.

Weve been here numerous times and absolutely love it. We were surprised to see a horse there this year (which i loved) but the poop horsey smell was bad. We got used to it and it wasnt too bad after a day. I cannot say enough about the owner of this place...shannon is always helpful and will go above and beyond to make your stay special. Boulder cove is our go-to get away place. So quiet and beautiful. Cant wait to visit again.

So glad you enjoyed your stay. Sorry about Ellie May and her smell...Wind direction and the heat wave do not help with her smells. lol. Glad to see you back and hope you have safe travels in the mean time so we can see you again.

Stayed for a few days and it was wonderful. Clean, quiet and was very safe. The cottages are like homes, not a typical cottage. Two nice bedrooms, a big bathroom, living room and nice cozy dining area/kitchen combined. A deck 3/4's around cottage overlooking the ocean. A hidden treasure for a wonderful vacation.

Finally made it and what a place! Clean, well equipped, beautiful views and it's like you are all alone. We found the only thing wrong was that we had to leave. The resorts have nothing on this place!

We enjoyed a relaxing night in the fully equipped and spacious Pubnico cottage. Our friendly hosts ensured that everything was ready prior to our arrival. The views from the deck and living room were awesome. For sure we will come back for a longer stay.

First time to Boulder cove but will not be our last! We arrived via atv trail. Seven couples on side by sides. The cottages are absolutely beautiful and everything you could ever want has been thought of. They even have a fully stocked book case. The view from my veranda was amazing , so serene and peaceful. We watched a lobster boat hauling traps. There are covered verandas with big barbeques so you can cook even if the weather isn't agreeable. firepits , hammocks, a childrens playground absolutely anything you would need is here. I highly recommend Boulders Cove Cottages for that peaceful get away.

My husband and I arrived December 2 for our honeymoon, we stayed until December 6. We cannot say enough good things about this place! So glad I came across it! The cottage (Lockeport) had absolutely everything we needed (besides food), a beautiful view, plenty of adorable visitors (chipmunks, dogs, rabbits). The jacuzzi tub was a huge selling point for us and it didn't disappoint. We will absolutely be back soon and we can't wait! Thanks for having us.

We rented two cabins for 3 families for a recent hockey tournament. Very nice location right on the water and the cottages were clean and roomy. We used the BBQ both night and we used the fire pit both nights. Due to time of year they did not have any wood left so we brought our own. We very much enjoyed our stay and it was so much better than staying in a local hotel and the price per night is very reasonable. Highly recommend.
