The hotel is on your right coming into town, super easy to find. Room was nice, all we needed. The dinner at the restaurant was delicious! You have nice views of the fjord and town. The Westfjords are the best part of Iceland so be sure to come for a couple of days!

Fosshótel Westfjords is not a luxury hótel by any stretch, but it is more upscale than a basic motel. It is new, fairly modern, and to find even this level of comfort in these remote parts was a pleasant surprise. The staff was energetic and friendly. The restaurant served an excellent dinner as well as breakfast.

Rooms are compact but modern. Tea/coffee facilities, TV, hanging space, desk with chair and small bathroom. Hotel is on 2 levels with a lift or stairs available. Large restaurant downstairs with a small bar. Carpark to the side of the hotel. Hotel is located next to a gas station with food available. Small local store on the hill behind hotel...

Hotel is new, nice and clean. Staff is friendly, especially the front desk. Check-in is speedy even though there was a line. We requested a non-ground floor room but was not available, even though the 2nd night, the hotel is running low occupancy. Nevertheless, we still enjoyed the hotel stay and recommend this hotel. We enjoyed the bisque soup, the...

Stayed here for one night in October. It's very centrally located-- we drove here from the Snaefelles Penninsula and then made our way to Latrabjarg and the Red Sand Beach from here. Rooms were clean and modern and hotel itself is the newest Fosshotel. Friendly staff, good restaurant although a little pricey. Breakfast is included and was one of the...

Nice hotel with a very nice restaurant. Very nice personel too. Breakfast is very good, you can bake your own waffles :) While we stayed we got a free second drink at dinner because it took longer than expected for the dinner to be ready. But it didn't take very long actually. Across the street is the sea.

We stayed in the room that had a big window toward the sea. The included breakfast is excellent with diverse options. In conclusion, for the price it is a really worthy hotel. Recommend all the travelers who plan to Westjford to stay here!

I stayed here for one night with a group. The hotel is very modern and my room was light and airy and stylishly decorated. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was modern and clean. I had a ground floor room looking over the fjord; although it faced the road it was very quiet. The hotel has a nice...

Not really worth a detour, the hotel is clean, the staff is ... professional. The town is very small and if you go in September basically everything is closed, you have to eat there and it's expensive and the restaurant reviews are not that good or you eat at the gas station where they serve burgers and pizzas that are...

The hotel looks straight onto the fjord. Rooms are well sized with good storage space, comfortable beds and a small shower room. WiFi was slow but did work. Breakfast was good with a hot alternative in addition to the usual continental fare. Staff were pleasant. Definitely better than 3*
