Extremely high standard B&B, beautifully decorated to a high standard. we stayed in room 4, very spacious, comfortably bed, tea, coffee and fresh milk in the room and the added luxury of a bath. Great views of the countryside and sea views, very quiet and peaceful. Breakfast in the dinning room overlooking the garden was lovely with plenty of choice...

We stayed at Saxon Villa for two nights, first weekend of July, as we were due to attend a wedding on the Saturday. We were warmly greeted on arrival and shown to our beautiful room which was well equipped with all the essentials - as well as a few thoughtful little extras such as spare toiletries! The bed was so...

Loved staying here, the house is amazing, the garden to die for and the hosts make you feel so welcome. Our room was the best I have stayed in, in any B&B. Breakie was yummy and the port on a evening just added that finishing touch. Would defo stay again and would recommend to anyone, indeed I already have :-)

The friendly hosts have provided thoughtful extras such as a caraf of port in the evenings, and a bag of make-up removers and beauty aids provided in the ensuit bathrooms for the ladies. The beautiful old stone house once belonged to a Captain, and it is ideally located near the top of Robin Hoods Bay Old Town, a minutes walk...

Des and Heather were very welcoming. The room was lovely and comfortable, and there were thoughtful extra touches, such as ladies' make up removing toiletries. Very peaceful. I would really recommend this bed and breakfast.

Very friendly, very helpful. Great place, very high standards. As a bonus, I could charge my electric car of road in their car parking area, this is really useful in the wilderness of no car charging points.

I took my my mum to stay here in june 2016. Excellently presented rooms. tasty breakfast. French milk in your room daily. Beautiful garden. Cute cats. The real highlight was the local advice that Des and Heather provided. Including walks and eateries. We had a lovely stay. Highly recommended.

Just back from two nights staying here in quiet secluded village of Fylingthorpe. Loved the generous sized room with high ceilings and comfortable bed. Room had glorious views over the beautifully kept garden and further to the sea. Comfortable sofa in room to plan your next days agenda. Large ensuite with shower. I liked the subtle touches: face towels, fresh...

Three old (in every sense of the word) friends stayed here before tackling a coastal walk. We were given a friendly, if slightly startled welcome and a thorough briefing on our rooms. These were large, spotlessly clean and very comfortable, with great showers. Breakfast was impeccable and Served in a friendly way. The only slight criticism by one of our...

Our room was very well presented, comfortable, clean and inviting. Des and Heather had included lots of thoughtful touches, and even put kitkats in the tea tin :) The garden and house are both really nice, and obviously have a lot of time and effort spent on them. Breakfast was very tasty, and generous too. Heather knew lots about the...
