We have just returned from a two night stay at Buscot Manor. We would agree that the location is idyllic and is surrounded by beautiful countryside with many places of interest to visit. We did know about the situation with the bathrooms and although we did book a private bathroom we found this arrangement far from ideal. The property is...

We stayed at Buscot Manor for our wedding night and we were so impressed. The house and rooms are absolutely stunning, the beds huge and so comfy and the grounds beautiful. Romney is so friendly and welcoming, she made everything really easy for us and our stay really comfortable. Can't wait to come back and bring our dog this time!...

I saw this gracious old house featured in a TV programme and I felt I wanted to visit and stay...........such a disappointment. The official description is cleverly worded - (misleading) to give the impression of a private bathroom! Infact the bathrooms are across the landing and anything but private - no shower. The room was large - four poster bed...

Just got back from a 2 night stay here. Buscot Manor is beautiful, as is the surrounding village and countryside with some lovely walks and places to visit. Facilities were lovely, shared bathrooms were not a problem and the four poster bed was a lovely treat which we ALL enjoyed with plenty space for more! Breakfast was delicious with a...

We stayed for two nights in August as a birthday treat. The house and setting are beautiful, and our room (Keats) was comfortable and quiet with lovely views. However, our experience was not 5 star! The shared bathroom was pretty but too busy with a full house. There was nothing provided to clean up after yourself (or others). The bedroom...

We love this place and its owners. It's a beautiful lived in B&B - what it's not a clinical starched hotel with chrome everywhere and no character. Yes you have to share a bathroom with other guests ( another room at the most ) , but the bathrooms are lovely and clean , gorgeous roll top baths with luxury soaps...

The location couldn't be better, close to the river, good pubs and countryside. You would need a car, however. The manor house was very tastefully and authentically decorated in period design. Perfect for the 'old England' experience. Lots of wood, classic furniture, four-poster beds. The only issue was the bathrooms. Unfortunately people use the bathroom allocated to your personal room...

I have just returned from 2 nights at this B&B. Have to say from reading the reviews already submitted these people must’ve been staying somewhere else! Yes we received a warm welcome and the people were lovely BUT we booked ‘exclusive use of a private bathroom’. I wrongly assumed this would be en suite facilities, not an entirely separate bathroom,...

As per 'suecolbourne1958' ......Great Period Manor House, listed Grade 2*. Thames river walk on it's doorstep, or if you prefer just watch the boats passing by at Buscot Locks and weirs. The Trout Inn was within walking distance (1.25miles) again on the Thames pathway, reasonable meals and can get busy! We shall be revisiting in the near future.

Stayed for weekend as visiting air show Homely, comfortable, quiet. Four poster bed. Although shared bathroom, ( basin in room) I never saw another guest! Lovely setting. Romney made us so welcome and 6 year old Annabelle took us to see the chicks. Will visit again.
