My family was looking for a campsite and this looks like a beautiful one, we checked the reviews too and all were positive. We are a family, with small kid and a teenager. Yes, we are young but just because of such, we were judge that we booked for a campsite to party? We acknowledge that there are rules and we follow the rules. We go for a camping almost every year, and this is the first time this happened. We were so disappointed and hurt for this very unprofessional response. And just because she has a feeling that we come to party, i believe i have all the right to say that I have a feeling her rude response is because we are ASIAN. Anyway, thank you Susan. Wish you all the best for your business.

We discovered this campground last summer and returned to find it even more attractive. We love the beautiful pool and the area is perfect (read "flat") for bicycling. In particular, the owners, Susan and Rudy are incredibly friendly, helpful and always available. This time, because they were re-roofing one of the cottages they moved us one space back so we had a "double-wide site". We will certainly be back next year. By the way, the rest of the cute, air conditioned cabins will be re-roofed during the off season when it is cooler.

Susan and Rudy the owners are very friendly and welcoming to us travellers. Smaller campground just outside Lockeport. Relaxing. Seasonal campers very friendly. We did a day trip to Lockeport, Shelburne and Barrington and another day trip to Liverpool. Nice driving through the country side.

We loved staying here. We were parked backed up to the pond and across the way we could see the cottages, made for a very picturesque scene. The owners, Susan and Rudy, were so very nice. We had a leak under the shower and Rudy came to check on us, not everyone is generous enough to try to help. They have a full on easy recycling set up which I really appreciated. The swimming pool was beautiful and open much longer in the season than other parks. We were there in a Class C towing a car with 2 kayaks and 2 bikes and there was enough room for everything. I would recommend this park just on the basis of the owners being so nice and personable, but there is a lot to do in the area also. Lockeport has a nice boardwalk and beach. In Shelburne we enjoyed eating at the Seadog Saloon, went to the Farmers Market, the Whirligig Festival, and kayaked in the harbor using the launch next to the Yacht Club. The whole area is beautiful and people are quite nice and friendly everywhere you go.

This campground is under new ownership and they are terrific people. They have a lot of good plans for the campground. It is adequate as is, but needs some trimming and sprucing up. Sites are adequate for larger units. Would return.
