you reach this hotel by very narrow (fold in your side mirrors) where you are met by an official tweeting his whistle and shouting complete. So I jumped out to register leaving husband in car being berated by same official. I met with hotel staff who recommended to exit parking lot, drive downhill and then trudge back up bearing luggage....

This Parador is superb, just add a small touch and book a room with a balcony it is well worth it, we had room 9. As usual the Parador is a well run hotel very clean and the staff very friendly and helpful, they do have a command of English even if you do not have a lot of Spanish....

Great location on top of the hill with fantastic views and back patio overlooking the valley. It was challenging to figure out how to get to the top of the town as the GPS wanted to take us a way that was impossible. As it was we had to turn the mirrors in on our small compact car and pray...

In Parador Arcos de la Frontera we had booked two nights with a Gastro Pack, i.e. half board, in order to celebrate my wife’s 70 years birthday. On arrival we were informed that lunch/dinner would be served in the cafeteria only. The cafeteria had no table cloth and the food served for lunch/dinner was very average. On time of booking...

The view, small town and proximity to the park for hiking are worth the visit. Unfortunately, I stayed in 4 Parador hotels during a 3 week trip to Spain and had two encounters with bed bugs, this one was the worst. I had bits all over my body - head, neck, arms hands, legs, feet, etc. I lost count at...

The town in itself is not very interesting. But it is outside of Jerez and easily accesed. Also it is on a steep hill with great views. Lots of people come up to the main square, in front of the Parador just to see the sunset. But the Parador has it all. In other words, you go to the hotel,...

A truly memorable Parador in a stunning location in a beautiful "White Town" full of interest. I knew I had to have a room with balcony overlooking the spectacular view over the river to the South. I was not disappointed - a truly awe-inspiring panorama - it rivals Jaen & Siguenza in this. Dinner was better than expected - many...

On a recent tour of the Cadiz area we stopped for a brief repast at the Parador de Arcos de la Frontera. The food was great but I was so impressed with the establishment in general that I did a brief tour and collected brochures, albeit in Spanish, but I had enough info I could link up later online in...

Ever since the first time I went to Arcos, I knew the next time I wanted to stay at the Parador and I was not disappointed! Whatever the difference in rooms is to get a balcony is well worth it. The rooms are nicely appointed but still with a very authentic feel. Really enjoyed drinks and tapas on the balcony...

On a 7day cycling trip through the "white villages" this hotel was the top. Actually, literally, as it's perched on a cliff with amazing views! Don't miss the chance to watch the sunset from the terrace with a glass of cava - magical. We also love the "hidden" terrace on the top floor - no pool, but the most comfortable...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The cultural crossbreeding of the Casa del Corregidor displays an andalusian character, with latticework and a courtyard. Many of the rooms overlook a splendid landscape filled with art, nature and history. The flowery tiling enlivers the wood of the furniture and the ochre of the terraces. ... more   less
