Our 2nd visit and certainly not our last... from the minute you arrive you will have the fabulous welcome, nothing is too much trouble and if you have forgot something they will have it ! Our break was to walk locally.. we were not disappointed as every day we out and exploring.. then came back to a lovely warm welcoming room .. we cannot fault Penbontbren in any way .. it’s just amazing.. we hopefully will be back soon to our little place home from home... thank you Rich, Huw and Dawn .. xxx

This is our 6th stay at Penbontbren and it never disappoints. It is real luxury, beautiful suites with updated kitchen areas to provide extras for COVID. Richard, Huw and Dawn are fantastic hosts and nothing is too much trouble. Breakfast is delicious too. We are already booked in again for next year.

All the rooms are suites consisting of a bedroom, bathroom and sitting room with kitchenette With a fridge( with minibar and fresh milk), microwave ( they supply microwavable food) , sink, crockery and cutlery. In equipping the suites, Richard and Huw have thought of everything. The breakfasts are excellent, it is spotlessly clean and very reasonably priced. Unsurprisingly they have a loyal following and early booking is advisable. There is a very large garden to enjoy, accessed from each suite’s private terrace which has tables and chairs..

Visited a couple of years ago and really enjoyed it so we decided to visit again. Lovely place, peaceful and tranquil setting with great grounds. From start to finish had an excellent time thanks to Richard, Huw and staff. The suite was lovely, comfortable, stylish, spacious, and of course spotless. The bed was huge and extremely comfortable for us and after being out for the day sightseeing it was lovely to come back to the suite and relax. We had a lovely patio area to sit out and read etc looking over the extensive gardens. The breakfast was excellent with a very good choice of quality produce, we thoroughly enjoyed everything as nothing seems too much trouble. The kitchen area was useful as was the well stocked fridge with drinks and also it was nice to know that microwave meals were available for use in the microwave provided if you did not want to visit local eateries. There is plenty of parking space available. The arrangements for COVID were excellent leaving us feeling very safe during our stay. We cannot really say more, it is a briiliant place to stay. We absolutely love it. We wish we could keep it secret! We will be visiting again.…

This is the 5th time we have stayed here and I’ve never stayed anywhere else more than twice! The standard of this bed and breakfast is second to none. A lovely warm welcome, immaculately clean and comfortable room and a great breakfast. There has been an enhancement to the rooms since our last visit, with the expansion of the small kitchen area to include a microwave, sink and eating area which we found very useful. Richard and Huw are currently able to supply microwaveable meals to have in your room which is a bonus. The fridge is still as well stocked as ever. The setting is peaceful and quiet, each suite has its own outside space and once again we’ve had a really relaxing break at this outstanding bed and breakfast. Absolutely love it.
